Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Round 22: Victory vs Mariners

Herald Sun ran a thing about Victory's win-loss with and without Milligan a couple of weeks ago. Needless to say, they concede substantially more goals without him and have a substantially higher loss rate without him.

The only real issue we've had going forward has been seip at right back and finishing

Duke and fitzy should have a goal each.

I actually think Seip's doing alright still... Moving forward ok etc... Seeing a bit of action with him and Fitz

Have a bad feeling this is going to be one of those games we deserved to win..
Yeah, I'm getting that feeling too and it's really annoying... That combined with how I don't understand why Chesty got a yellow and if that was a yellow, Victory have gotten away with at least two that should have been as well... Frustration, but good to see the boys looking much better...

F***KKKK! Faaaaaaaark this is frustrating to watch... Victory doesn't deserve one, let alone three from this crud :-(

Victory their usual grubby selves all match, nothing but a bunch of hacks.

Duke lets another chance go missing, just tries to kick it as hard as possible into the middle of the goal. We need some more experience up front, there's no leadership on the field at the moment.

2-1 I can handle. 3-1's a kick in the nuts though.

. this is easiest to explain by looking at the statistics ... before this game, apparently:
  • mariners winning ratio with ben williams refereeing 20%
  • victory 59%

I'm all for giving players every chance to prove themselves. but Seip is now my all-time worst Mariners player.

If that's the best we've played this season we are in serious trouble. I hate to say it but I think we may be in for a hiding next week in the F3.

We will get a larger squad to pick from (I hope), but with so many players well below their best, I'd hate to be Mossy trying to pick a team.

Fuggin result aside...

Pretty happy with Trifiro's debut. Sim decent again too.
Good game by a number of players.

Every time we start a game by missing a number of sitters you just know we're gonna lose. You can't squander your chances. Other teams don't. This is why victory won.

the WORST player we've ever had was NIK TURDJA:poo::poo::poo::poo::poo::poo::poo::poo::poo::poo::poo::poo::poo: ( dispite the fact that he broke a scummers leg)
seive would be my no 2 pick

Seip defended well and did well moving the ball out in his own half, he just has absolutely nothing for a final ball, 5-6 rubbish crosses.
