It were fooking brilliant coming 8th. We had Boots, shirts and everything that year.

You lucky bastards....you had boots?.....Mike used to send us out with Tooheys New cartons for boots and shin pads.......we came last of course but you were glad to be a Mariner in them days and we loved it.
