Seriously, for the last 20 minutes I kept forgetting CCM had the one man advantage. SO much lost ball- all they had to do was be patient and hang onto it, instead of constantly coughing it up transitioning between the mid-field to the front.

Should've banged it in, 3-0, 4-0....instead Adelaide looked like the winners at the end.

The fact we had an advantage but yet so clearly didn't, proves that we truly are not fielding a full side of HAL level players each week. When we run on with Powell (who I have no idea why people still think should be considered as a viable striker) and Roux, we're down two players. And Roux is a huge liability. I'm afraid Danny is not doing well at all like Erin said on the pod. There's the youth inconsistency theory, but he's never been the same since he came back form the U23. Genuinely feel sorry he ever came to us. I think we may honestly be hampering his development and career now.

While an absurd amount of our defensive weakness today honestly just came through Roux, we're also far to loose in our shape, our lines are lazy and often at sixes or sevens, we stand off at the wrong times (excepting only Baro and Tom - and Wout when he's actually playing) and we have no adventure going forward unless on the break via someone fast. Been the SAME all year. Today it was just Trent instead of Kubi. No goals from open play yet again. And Adelaide's balls into the box compared to our is pathetic. BUT, they have quality. Even at 10 men, they have so much more quality on the park than us. It's TRANSPARENT. And I'm so sick of it Shaun and MC.

As to Okon and Jolic...

Their lack of tactical or rhythmic shift in the second half was very poor and our subs came FAR to late. Surely they can see what's happening? But it's like because they do all the pre planning with mapping out whose doing however many minutes blah blah that they don't even watch the actual game and respond to it anymore. Subs are not meant to just be for tired or injured players, they're supposed to be f**king tactical as well.

I could forgive Okon ball when the issue was we couldn't finish because we lacked quality, but when you're supposedly a possession based football side being utterly dominated in possession by 10 men?? it's just embarrassing.

Club needs to do better. This has gone on far too long now. Everyone I know has had enough.

Yeah just finished ranting in my post now. But I still feel like writing and posting another rant. So hey...

We deserve better. Our money, time and patronage has been taken for granted for too long now.

We must have change.

We have become so pedestrian Ihave been so patient on my opinion of Okon but he has start wearing the blame .

Yeah I've been super patient because I could see the work, I loved most of his recruiting and we're so clearly lacking in quality - and anyone who doesn't think that our cattle are a huge part of the problem are insane imo. But Okon's repeated inflexibility and stubbornness in the face of his teams shortcomings is not acceptable either. Because in no way could what we played today be called "possession football" and our pressing has steadily regressed and our defence was awful and he persists with Roux and that's on him. Like Bert said, your team must be able to play the way you want to play. We peaked at being 75% able to play the way he wanted a long time ago, and now despite exactly whose fault it is, injuries, VAR's MC's austerity measures, we can't play the way he wants and be successful, and yet we don't change...

I can't defend that. Don't see how anyone could any more. And his past improvements to our football early in the season can only hold so much currency.
