starting lineup

bench: Pasfield, Hearfield, Baird, Bernie

Thank God Arnie has Bernie on the bench, way more of an impact player than McBreen

That was shocking.
My very uneducated girlfriend was giving it big time to pellegrino and that would have been weemac's worse game for us.

Good crowd though

shocking game...we are the victims of a ridiculously long off-season! Somehow Brisbane can come out unaffected, but we look like we are usfferin a hangover
The only positive is the 10k crowd...WELL DONE Central Coast! I'm just scared that the team didn't play exciting enough to attract them back

Very lucky point. We made them look good. Good crowd but agree that not too many part timers will be back after watching that.

90 minutes of my life I can't get back!
Midfield seemed to be off their game. One pass forward and two passes back???

By the way what happened to the game time clock on the big screen? Good to have replays but better to know how long to go...

Pedj was off his game and we need play to the whistle, that GC goal was a gift.

Apparently the software crashed on the normal operation of the board so they had to switch over to the live fox feed.

But yeah crappest performance by us in a while.

Also good to see the couple behind me got the Masterfoods pack - they really do rock up pretty well much every game and do travel away so it was good to see 'em rewarded for their support. Kudos to the club for that.

We will not win a game with Pellegrino at 10. He is not a 10. His movement was woeful and his positioning was shocking. We would have been no worse fielding only 10 players.

Without Amini We would be better served playing with 3 forwards rather than make do with Pellegrino. He looked overweight and lazy today.

I think Pellegrino tries to do too much and is often caught out of position. If he settled stayed central and held the ball up to place some decent through passes he would have a greater positive impact. Currently he is like a chicken with it's head cut off.

I would not have thought Pelle has had any preseason with the team. He looked like he just came in and had no idea how players were moving.

He and weemac had awful games for me. Pedj was off his game too.

We should avoid watering the pitch if we are going to knock it around the back then pump it long. Cost us 3 attacks early on with players slipping.

Glad for a point though, but we looked lathargic and midfield/distribution were horrible

Let's not tar and feather them all.

Pellegrino isn't a 10. I was hoping that Arnie would switch Pelle for a striker, and have Simon drop back in. But Rudan on fox has just tagged a few areas where Pellegrino didn't really fit the 10 role and where we as a team need something a little better.

We've got guys who look a little flat too. Kwas looked miles off his game and not really ready yet and neither Olly nor Weemac looked 100%. Simon continues to surprise (in a good way) - his crossing is brilliant and there was one moment in the first half where he came to the ball under pressure from two defenders and played a gorgeous pass off the outside of the right foot through a gap and kept us moving forward. I'm quite a fan of Porter at CB. He won't stay there when Wilko comes back, but he's got some game there.

Attacking plays that worked today were the little combination plays on the flanks to get balls in behind the GC fullbacks and also Porter and Zwaanswijk hitting the big angled passes to the wide midfielders. We gave the ball up too often though, and miscommunications could have cost us dearly a couple of times.

Good crowd, good escape, on to next week.

Tonight to me showed the game plan we have needs a good No 10... last year in Musty & Perz we were well served .. Pele is a solid player but not in Musty or Prez class ...

I think we need a different formation with Pele in the team...
