TOM Rogic has been given permission to travel to Glasgow to discuss personal terms with Scottish giant Celtic.
The Australian understands Celtic will table an offer of 750,000 euros ($950.000) to his club Central Coast Mariners sometime today, ensuring Australian soccer’s hottest prospect has played his last game in the A-League.
Rogic, 20, has been training with the Hoops during a camp in Spain and has greatly impressed manager Neil Lennon.
Celtic appears to have beaten off a number of rivals, including Reading, Club Brugge and Fulham, which is understood to be preparing to table an offer of 800,000 Euros to the Mariners.
However, it is believed Rogic is very happy with Celtic and has been impressed with its set-up. It is also considered the recently capped Socceroos’ best hope of getting first team football almost immediately.

Rogic’s trip to Glasgow will mean he will miss Saturday night’s A-League F3 Derby against Newcastle Jets

Rogic, 20, is currently on a five-day trial with the Bhoys at their mid-season camp in Spain, with Celtic boss Neil Lennon hoping to extend the youngster's stay.
According to Australian newspaper theDaily Telegraph, Celtic could make an offer close to £500,000 (AU$750.000) and request Rogic features in Wednesday's friendly match against Steaua Bucharest.
Lennon told Scotland's Daily Record that he is hoping Rogic will be available for selection after a deal is formalised, although Central Coast want their star to return immediately if contract talks stall.
"We will have to be careful about it for insurance reasons and stuff like that," Lennon said. "We would like to play Rogic (on Wednesday) but if that's not the case it's not a big problem.
"We like the look of him, like the cut of him. Reading were interested but we stole a march on them, so we will see how he does. We're hoping to get him back to Glasgow for another week.
"I think he's worth the money from what I've seen but I'd like to have a proper look before we decide."
Premier League clubs QPR, Reading and Fulham were all reportedly interested in Rogic, although there have been no further offers from the English clubs."

He likes what he sees because he's in sunny Spain. It's surely to be a different story when he sees gloomy Glasgow and asks for an interpreter to be able to buy a loaf of bread.

Lol....I'm sorry what is a pint of Heavy exactly?

It will sure toughen him up

on the upside, deep fried kebabs = winning.

CENTRAL Coast Mariners FC wish to officially advise that terms have been agreed for the transfer of Tomas Rogic to Celtic FC.
Rogic will now travel to Glasgow from Spain with ‘The Bhoys’, and will discuss personal terms with the Scottish giants over the coming days.
Subject to Rogic reaching a personal agreement with Celtic, the attacking midfielder will formally be transferred to Neil Lennon’s team.
Central Coast Mariners FC will advise members, fans and media of any further updates regarding this matter when they occur.

. hopefully this is a good outcome for all concerned ... i wish the kid the best of luck

. i suspect the probability of first team football for a big club (regardless of the league) played a big part in tom's thinking. if the team continues to do well and he does well in that team ... he may not be there too long
