ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Roar Match

Would be nice to finally get some ground in the historic stats against these bastards

With the Roar somewhat misfiring under their new coach, now is that time. Knowing our luck they will finally get their full act together against us. There are great match-ups all over the park. On current form the midfields and forwards are fairly evenly matched. In defence we're without Dutchy, so it's time for the youngsters to shine with Pedj and Rosey to guide the centre backs through.

Always sit in the shade. I hope the staff keep the champagne and prawns suitably chilled.:D

I feel a bit concerned about this game. Brisbane have always been a bogey team for us and our defence is weakened going in against one of the better attacking teams in the comp.

I hope we can catch their defence playing high with our new speedy, young striker.;)

Logically I agree with you...but my gutty says 'get out of the way roar, we're gonna smash Adelaide and take our rightful throne back'

For no particular reason I'm sure we'll win this one

But here are some particular reasons anyway - the defence we're sending in held out a rampant MV for 40 mins last week whilst going forward we're proven sharp.
Bernie always seems to change things for the better against roar too so I think the sub will see an effect.
Roar are seemingly back to their old selves - but are below what they used to be while the Mariners are better than they've ever been. And I don't doubt the grit and determination will be there, at home, all after playing the 'best half of football the A-League has ever seen'.

At the end of the day it's more gut than sense but we'll win this one

Dear Arnie and the boys

Pretty please tomorrow let me experience something I never have before - a win against the Roar, coz it's never happened at Bluetongue (unless you count the first pre-season, Nik Mrdja hattrick) nor the 4 finals-series games I've attended at Suncorp. Sure, there's been a fair number of draws but you know...

Oh, and dear Chris Beath

Please do not fall for that diving cheating gypsy, with his magic tea, and wrongfully red-card one of our centre backs and hand them a penalty (or any other dumb mistake like your stupid colleagues).

Shit, I'm looking forward to tomorrow :)

Dutchy's absence worries me. The way we have been trying to play out from the back worries me. We make too many mistakes and I think Brisbane, of all teams, are the ones that are really going to make us pay for our sloppiness.

Think we'll be ok at the back. Zac is a gun young un and Trent is coming along nicely. We have plenty of experience with Monty and Hutch just in front of them. TBH i'm glad that Zac is getting some decent game time, it has to happen sometime and will happen from time to time during the season anyway. The strength of our squad is better than most if not all clubs this year. Like everyone else praying for a win, we have a dodgy record against them but it has to happen one day and tomorrow is the day!!

I think without Dutchy we`ll be a lot more inclined to play a safety first game at the back.
Sainsbury will have to watch the wayward passes & concentrate a lot more on his defence .

Let`s face it Dutchy probably won`t be there next year so we`ll have to get used to that.

Brisbane will try to put pressure on our back four in a effort to pich it in our back third.
We`ve some great football this year,if we bring our A game we`ll win it..
