ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Wow... that was an absolutely amazing second half.

Faty should not be allowed anywhere near the pitch for the remainder of his time with the club (which hopefully will end in January)...

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
How fkn good was that for a comeback...outstanding effort by the boys
Smart move by the gaffer to bench fathead ....and the rocket and 3 packs of bungers at half time in the shed
probably helped

3rd time I've seen us come back from 3-zip. Well in this case seeing I was listening to the radio, heard us come back. :)

Tav was actually pretty good in that second half. He's not a 10, but when he gets in a good groove he moves around well and keeps us in possession.

To be honest we're lucky with some of the amazing shit we managed to do at the back, but Ivan was gooood.

Does anybody know where one can view on-line the official post-match interviews of both coaches ???
fcuking itching
No but usually on shootout after Jerks game tomorrow. Last season they'd show them on there when ran out of time

Tav looks like a very good player.
Ivan shits on Izzo.
Back 4 needs a lot of work. Posco overall our best defender.
Our passing needs to improve but our movement was good.
Pain and Budgie were outstanding.
Roy looks full of goals and would have had a hatrick if it wasn't for a world class save by Reddy.
Huge credit to Paul for hooking Faty. Tony or Moss wouldn't have.

Team looks better and Paul made the call TW wouldn't make in a season.

A lot of work to do, could have lost 6-5

We need a CB bad.

Now can we convince Taveras that Faty is shit or did he do that himself. Tavares was good but if we have to loose him to loose Faty it's an easy decision. Taveras controlled the team very well in 2nd half.
But
Perth took there foot off the gas and you never do that

I've got a strange feeling. Haven't had it in a while, I'm struggling to recognise it.

I think it starts with a 'H'...umm...h....h.....ho.......hop.....nah, the word's lost to me, been too long

2nd half yes ..... but overall for the full 90mins ?
NO , not for the $$$'s he's earning he wasn't, I expect better than that performance for the coin he's pocketing.

He's not a 10
Yes, but if you're going to play with 2 DM's in a 4-2-3-1 .... 1 of the 2 HAS to carry the ball forward a lot more often than what was occuring & that DM needs to be Tavares.

When the space opens up through the middle, which was hapoening, he needs to dribble& drive. He did just that for the 2nd goal that ultimately was an own goal off of Reddy.

Tavares needs to push on to 10yrds outside the box to recycle soft clearances/switch to the opposite corner flag to go again etc, & Powell at the top of the 18 yard or just inside of it for the 'snap-shots' on goal from sloppy defending.

Monty is such an asset to the team that I think he'll be our CB when Liam Rose returns from international duty.

Taveres excellent in attack and defense, real calm in any situation.

Great passing from the team for the majority of the game, we passed out of defense confidently and convincingly, our attacking passes were less wayward than in previous years and far far less long ball shit from last year.

The goals were really defensive positioning errors mostly from Faty.

We had as many chances as they had, and we should have had a second penalty.

I'm really happy with the team right now. And we have three excellent players who didn't play in Bingham, Ferreira, and Liam Rose.

Monty with Posco as the 2 CB's would be MONSTERED aerially on corners & at set pieces.

As a defender himself, I'd be really surprised if PO went that route.

Also 510 successful passes for 88% accuracy. I haven't seen numbers like for the Mariners in forever.
