ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

"In three or four years Patrick will be head coach of the Central Coast Mariners," current coach Graham Arnold said yesterday.
As for replacing Zwaanswijk, Arnold said: "With Zach Anderson and Brent Griffiths, they've come on a lot this year.........

Wow I completely forgot Patrick was youth coach for a while... awkward.

Shame, he may very well have been a great defensive coach for the senior team, rather than jumping straight to a full coach with all responsibilities.

Wonder what would have happened if he hadn't gone via youth :(

Please explain your deep comment?

He is already a successful State League coach and was a damn fine player.

Working with us would be a big feather in his cap.

Win win.
Remember watching an interview with Rudan where he was talking about doing his license and Patrick was on the same course. He reckoned Dutchy was on a different level to every one else.

I thought we were average all over the park last Sunday, but I was most disappointed through the middle and with our attack. Too slow and too many turn-overs from the front leaving us exposed on the counter, which WSW exploited very well without too many rewards.

Cac should be taking them on, he's more than capable, one of the best in the league. No need for too much adjustment, let's just get through until Fab comes back to full fitness.

We seriously need a win though!

What about Rudan?
At first glance I thought Rudan would be good however after a sensational first year with NPL team United 58 he has had a disappointing time of it.
Still a lot of passion for the game however as he is looking for the top job I don't think he would fit the bill and at the moment he is probably a little dirty on us for stealing his new CB.
But if he did I will give one of my seats to his sister.

I'm talking about him coaching our defenders!
Helping out....not coaching the team.
Just teaching our numpties at the back some basics.

Yeah Wombat I got your point and I was saying that as he is after a head coach role he could unsettle TW and Hutch as well as arnie getting more inside help.
But his sister can still come.

Coming in to look at the defence? "Strange experience" Wonder what that means? Sacked as youth league coach but want me to help the seniors now - strange? Or just strange to be back?

Well received etc doesn't just sound like a social visit though does it. Cheers Atomic.
