Anyway, enough of the Perez talk we have an important game tomorrow, he's not going to play so it's up to the 11 players who have a blue and yellow shirt on to shove it up the FFA's arse and claim us 3 points!

Not seeing the squad for tomorrow I'd probably go the same team as last week, however, Griffiths was average so I wouldn't be upset to see Hutch drop back and Matty play the number 10 role to annoy the shit out of Muscat all night! If Porter has recovered then give him a place on the bench with Pedj staying at RB.

Whatever the team is I don't care, all I care about is chanting abuse towards the FFA for a while and then giving it everything I have to get the boys across the line!

Fire the f**k up!

FIRE UP FARKEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mate you've been fired up all week on FFT. I don't think I read once decent counter to yours & FP's (or is it FB's)arguments during the week.

I wasn't gonna go to this one. Late finish, taxi service for the kids etc etc but after the shenanigans that have gone on this week I wouldn't miss it for the world. I reckon things are going to be very passionate on and off the pitch. I hope muscat pulls something stupid early on just to fire up the crowd a little bit more.

In all honesty, I think we played really shit in the first 15-20 mins but then started to come into the game. I woundn't go as far to say we controlled the game, but we were winning the 50/50's and knocking it around alright.

I'll be quite happy to take the 3pts from tonights game and see us still in the mix at the top of the table.

Let's hope we can get another up again next week, then Perez will be back... watch the mariners storm roll the league then!!!.... Ahhhh the dream we all believe in!!

GO YOU MIGHTY MARINERS!!!!! B)

Well done Mariners. Despite the best efforts of the MRP and the total lack of natural justice, you have stuck it to them in the best way possible with a win over their beloved Melbourne Victory.

The little team that shouldnt just did it again!

Great result. MV used their 433 to press us hard playing the ball out. This minus our key number 10 play maker...
No way I'll be whinging about not being pretty enough with a two nil win at home.

Other positives.

Fantastic backline. It's looking like the right balance of speed with Pedj and Rose and strength and height with Wilko and Ducthy.

Dutchy is immense. Best centre back in the whole league at the moment for mine. Great for Wilko's development to be playing alongside him.

Ryan having a solid game.

McBreen getting on the sheet. (Quality hold up man game today)

Equal top of the league for now.

Only 1 game left till Perez is back :D

Oh yeah and Yellow Army, Coastie Boys whoever it is now...

TIFO was brilliant.

Class work guys. Keep it up.

Agree with it all FP - but I particularly like how Pedj and Rose combine with Wee-Mac and Ollie. ::)

Really enjoyed watching the class we have in defence, It got to the point where I was no longer nervous if Victory would skin 1, 2 or even 3 midfielders and whip a cross in, I KNEW it was going to a Mariners defender, very well organised!

Did anyone else get the count on the number of times Dugandzic would skin through the middle of defence, dutchy would eye him up, take that micro-second longer for timing and own him with a clean tackle, making Mate look not so great!

Love this new defender, needs more credit IMO!
