ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. My hate order is:
1. Jest Bogan Scum (I live in Lake Macquarie which is far too close to the smell)
2. Victory (Think their shit don't stink, and then there's the Muscat Factor)
3. WSW (Because they don't sing their own songs and claim the ones the do sing as uniquely theirs.)
4. BrisVegas (For being Qld'ers. And for crimes against fashion. Orange and maroon is sooo ugly)
5. Sydney FC (For being Mariners Mark II. And the 'bling factor'.)
6. Phoenix (For being Rugby mad and living across the dutch. And the McGlinchey Affair)
7. Perth (For the massive East/West conspiracy chip on their shoulder)
8. Melbourne City (Suspicion of being Melbourne Croatia in disguise. But they get positive points for not being Victory)
9. Adelaide (My second favourite city and team. Positive points as well for being rabid Victory-haters)

Lol. Watching the game on Fox with the missus last week, hit the rewind button and said 'look, i think Ascrofts wrist must be fcuk'd'.
He clearly had it bandaged, but after ending up on the deck after a particular corner, he went to get up refusing to put his hand down and used his elbow instead, I noticed it because he looked silly trying to do it.
Kept my eye on him for the rest of the game and he was always holding his hand 'awkwardly' for the remainder of the game, running more so.
She said, "well that shouldnt affect his game too much should it?"
Replied, "our Daughter was a CB, how much grabbing did I encourage her to do to stay goal-side?"
Her, "Oh yeah, of course. I'm thinking his clearances."
This doesn't surprise me and perhaps we probably should attribute a 'little less' criticism his way for the poor defence last week.

I'm enjoying the scum doing well this season. (I don't know why) This will change when those grubby bogans come here and I'll remember why I hate them.
In 10 years following us I've had most altercations with them, closely followed by Sydney FC.
Drive bys are always interesting, especially in Parra and I could have punched on with Perth fans twice had I been so inclined. Once a very drunk Perth fan had unfurled a Mariners jersey ....with Mariners are shit written in texta on the front.....to me just after I'd shook hands with the away support. I recommended he take it from my sight very quickly which he did.

. i think most of you can agree that as Coasties and Mariners supporters we have been pretty lucky ... but now is a time to give to some of those less fortunate who, through the support of one of our own, also share a passion for the Mariners
. very appropriate for today's match when you consider how much we have given to our over-privileged and over-resourced opponents to the south ... that we should be looking to support those in need of our assistance once more

cant say I hate the Cove...the bogans definately, for a couple of reasons, I'm fairly sure they poured pee on us from the above balcony at the BoganDome once and they barricaded the bus at the Bogandome..but the killer was when Me, MrsRecky and the Grandbaby were leaving BT , we got to the corner of the club when the cops were shuffling the grimey f**ks out and one of the alledged sheilas yelled slut in a 2 year olds face...that done them for me
had a issue or two with City fans both times we have gone to Mexico...stink eye and name calling, but nothing on scum level

I have to admit - increasingly my dislike of the jest is tradition more than anything. Don't get me wrong, they're still in my top three of the games i want to see us win, the others being against the Smurfs and grand finals in general ;-)
They used to be above the Smurfs on that list, but I think the amount of staff they've tried to lure away over the years has changed that, together with players like Zad and Regan going away...
Doesn't hurt either that i work with several SFC fans who has happily tried to lecture me on why they're supposedly better, in spite of their non-performance and having to resort to bugging our staff ;-)

I cannot hate the Smurfs. Too many good memories of season 1, trying to outsing each other in the Kendall ("We all hate Kevin Muscat", "all love Johnny Warren", "still hate Victorians,"etc.).
Then the pub crawl up Forveaux St with a good sing in their pub before the game.
Great memories of great games against them, Spenny's massive deflection goal to win at the death at the SFC, their close win at the Bluetongue goalfest, our annihilation of them 2 seasons ago.
I would rather beat them than any other team, but no hate.
Newcastle is pure hate, I do not enjoy the games, their fans are scum. I used to attend the derby at Newcastle but I have been spat on and abused too many times to bother any more.
The Wanderers' fans are just narcissistic jackals. In a pack in the dark they can be dangerous. Don't like them, their team, their playing style, their coach or the suburbs from which they come.

Has to be the The Scum @ #1 for me.
First year up their The Marinators would take x2 buses up to The Land of the Bogans, and we were 'spat' on from .......
The Corporate Boxes! which were directly above us.
Say's it all about the standard of folk up that way.
Pointed this out to security who didnt care, then same Bogan started to pour his Crown Lager all over us straight from the bottle. Security only reacted by stopping myself and a few others from the Bay from going up there to dish out a hiding.
2nd or 3rd year, when were doing the yellow streamer tifo's, we bused up their again and word got around that they weren't letting us take in the streamers. So Fish distributed out the boxes amongst as many as he could, into pockets bags etc.
Going through the gates Security clued on and starting taking them off people. I took up my 13/14 yo daughter at the time. They took said streamers out of her bag at which point Bay16 legend big'Dave 'Auburn' asked what the problem was.
I replied "the Scummer's aren't letting a little girl take some streamers into the ground - they're a security threat" & with that a Security guy standing directly behind me grabbed me and threw me up against a chain link fence pinning me by the throat asking if I wanted to be arrested by the Police?
I said gurgling, trying to also breath at the same time, "You're the one who's going to be arrested". Auburn managed to get him to let go of me, he radio'd a 'code red' & I was followed into the ground by 3 security. They stood in the aisle of the away Bay pre kick-off.
I confronted them as to why they thought I was a threat when they had a criminal working right alongside of them. They told me to "calm down, & relax". I said to them angrily "I was calm!".
I turned to Fish and DJ & the rest of the boys and with stink in my eyes, screamed at them "Hey fellas, am I calm at the moment?, will you tell them I am calm!"
Fish replied to the 3 seccy's nonchalantly, "I can assure the 3 of you that that Guy there" pointing to me "at the moment, is in an absolute reaxed state of being & you need to leave him be!"
Everyone erupted in fits of laughter. It actually made me laugh and subsequently 'calmed me down'. Security then realised there was more than just one of me & eventually left. Fish the smart arse presented me with the "The Marinators Zen Award" at the end of year function we had. Small trophy & a CD of some Bhuddist monk meditation compilation. Like I said he's a smart arse
Great night at the end of year but that was just another shit day in Scumsville, fcukn hate the place, fcukn hate the people even more! (if you can call them that).
