ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Say what you want but atleast this game got people talking again, 10 pages and counting on the forum, pretty sure the Mel City game got to 8 and died

I was away and missed this game unfortunately, however I cant bring myself to watch the recorded version knowing SFC won.
From the comments it appears to be situation normal for this season, good attacking combinations, lots of potential but dodgy defending.
I am glad that TW tweaked the formation and good to see McGing rising into the CB role.
Cant control the refs, I saw lots of foul/yellow card inconsistencies in the Phoenix MV game that naturally favoured MV.
Is Posco out again this week?

honestly the defending was pretty good - it only started to fall apart after 45mins of playing with 10 men when they tired (and Posco was off). big defensive improvement

It has to be said though that in a league well acquainted with poor refereeing, this was one of the more prestigiously shit displays.

I think if you show the pen to 10,000 refs, it wouldn't surprise me if our guy was the only one who thought it was not.

Anyway done now.

“It was very disappointing to be portrayed as a diver or cheat, it’s definitely nothing that I’m about,” Fitzgerald said of his first caution.

The second yellow (a challenge on Milos Dimitrijevic) was just a bit reckless, I shouldn’t have gone in like that already being on a yellow. The worst feeling is just leaving the boys out there knowing they’ve got 50 odd minutes to play with a man down.

The end

He's a good guy, a good player, and he's gonna come back from this unplanned break and kill it for the rest of the year.

I want him watching the match and seething, and bring that venom to the derby the week after. Get us a win in Newcastle and people will want to kiss his feet.
