ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Confident of a 2-0 win to the good guys. We took a lead in the Brisbane, victory and nix games but carelessly gave them all up. This won't be repeated tonight. Feeling confident, and I'm generally a very pessermistic type of guy. The glass is half empty after all.
we'll have fitzy, simon:),rose & b.griffiths all back from suspension:headbounce: but the real question is monty or hutch 2 start?

Kim for the penalties, he's meant to be a set piece specialist and is all class
Well he certainly is a free kick specialist :D

Good effort from the boys

I am confident we won't drop in te 2nd half this week (mentally)

I was worried we might struggle from the beginning of the game due to our losin streak, but we looked extremely confident in the 10 mins before the goal which was good to see!

Only issue now is the physical fatigue...but I think the boys will at least stay mentally switched on this time!

Gotta say, I might have to eat my words - a little bit - Might need to either drop Matty to the bench, or swap him and Dukie for each other, cos by the looks of this, in an ideal world, we've got Dukie, Fits and Bernie on at the same time... At the very least today, they seemed to actually understand each other... Sim looked handy once again although his targeting is about as poor as Rosie's... And Seip actually had a decent enough game I thought... No huge stuff ups apart from handing off that yellow.
It has given me a little hope that we might do a little better through the younguns.

Thanks Smurfs FC for being unable to beat a fatigued Mariners, thereby letting us jump not only you, but also Victory on goal difference. Thanks Heart for crapping on Victory for us.

The interchange in positions in the front 3rd was fantastic. Kim and fitzy swapping 10 and left wing and fitzy and sterj swapping flanks, all added to the movement and made it hard for sydney to track our players. Ibini against tired defenders is awesome, especially his dribbling and playing the ball out when the opposition is pressuring. Much better option than hitting long balls to release the pressure

Duke proved he can be a handful against two of the better centre backs in the league.

My personal highlight was watching reddy pumping his mariners badge at the cove at the end of the game. He's a keeper... As in keep him.:piralaugh:

this A-League season will likely end up the highest scoring in it's history. I don't think I've seen a season yet this topsy turvey with so many 4 and 5 goal wins - and often a team winning by 5 one week then losing by 5 the next then winning by 5 the week after that. it's craziness, a lot of teams having big transition years by the looks

I enjoyed that.

We played decent Football for most of the game and actually had a go for a change.

The crowd atmosphere was excellent tonight and Bay 16 although down in numbers was superb.

Was there really only 6500k??? I did my bit and brought 6 extra people along that were going to pike out because of the wet!

Bosnar looked great before going off.

Reddy was superb and probably MOM.

Sim looked really good when he came on......he might even be a better player than Josh.

Fitzy was brilliant in the second half.

Hutcho was solid but still frustrating....mainly with his refusal to support our attacks.

Someone suggested Sterjovski might be Croatian for Passenger.

Sydney are pretty shit and ADP is nothing special at all.
