ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Agreed but the contact was just a defender edging in close to his man. Unless I've somehow missed the lunge Mick mentioned, I saw no moment of extension or real change of position. Only way he avoids conatct is if he leaps out of Taggart way. Skilful dive but a 100% dive.
Someone like Henry Hore does it they get a yellow not a free kick in a dangerous spot.

I don’t think we played badly. Some good intensity and asked a lot of questions especially early, just couldn’t connect the final ball or pull the trigger when we should. Perth have goals in them but they also have errors. Feel like we could get a red out of Clisby or Beevers or at least make them sub a main player.

Niz had about four shooting opportunities he passed on. Really doesn't trust his shooting boots does he?

No and never will if he continues to ignore those moments. Shame. Because a low percentage pass taht that doesn't come off is not something he typically chooses anywhere else at any other time, and he could very well have done much better by just shooting.

If we can eliminate Beevers early 2nd half that would be huge

Probably why teams stand off him as well, it would definitely be something opposing teams rely on. He needs to shock them and have a go every now and then.
