We literally have no clue, Well, no plan when we have the ball. It’s so blatantly obvious. The only time we get in behind is if there’s a break down/scramble of the play. No one besides O’Neil looks for the ball to his feet. Wee Mac on the extremely rare occasion might.

So what the f**k do the boys work on all week? Honestly? Because it can’t be set pieces or attacking shape or movement. Because we only ever hit long balls.
Wellington tried 3 set plays and all of them almost come off. We float shit balls into the box and crosses neverrrrrrr beat the first man or are over hit and despite that, no one runs near post incase it does beat the near post.

We are absolutely cooked. And I really don’t think I’m even being dramatic. If you think long and hard and be honest, how are we going to beat any other team playing the way we are? And setting up the way we do?

MC would have to sell voluntarily. If so, the new owner would need to be prepared to, for the first couple of seasons, pump a lot of money into the club to pay the full salary cap + marquees as well as a decent coaching staff.

That's my solution, as unrealistic as it is.

Can anybody else see any way to fix what has happened to this formerly proud club? We're an absolute joke.

Why do we keep recruiting terrible, terrible players each year? Why do we only have a couple of players who are barely HAL quality and the rest who are struggling to meet the standard, when every other club has a full team + subs of HAL players, a couple of top-tier HAL players, and a couple coming up through?

Why do we have reports on here that our training has no intensity - why is this happening? @Coast Football Ramble I wonder if that's something worth asking about next time you have any coaching staff on?
