Eddys gotten better but he really needs to stop diving in, stay on your feet lad, atleast 2-3 times a game he dives in way to early, misses completely and leaves the opposition
attacker free on goal.

If he can learn to read/time his tackles better he'd be in the top 5 CBs in the league

It's a nickname for which anybody who knows my last name needs no explanation, in contrast to some of Middy's winners like 'Fat Tony' (for Clive Palmer) or FLying Choppers (for Sydney FC).

Therefore it counts as just a nickname, rather than in the aforementioned category of Stupid Fucking Nicknames.

I thought we did well to get all 3 points.
We were not pretty but are no longer playing like a rabble.

Reddy 8. Embarrassing goal to concede but otherwise excellent. Got an assist as well. MOM yet again.
Siep 7.5. Looked pretty good.
Rose 7.5. Looked like our most composed and experienced defender.
Ando 6.5. One terrible pass early but apart from that looked much more assured on the ball. Still positionally suspect at time and fails to cut out sometimes but good in the air and developing into a useful player.
Eddy 6.5. Not bad.
Caceras 7. Decent.
Kim 6.5. Quality goal that probably only Sterjovski would have finished in the same position.
Monty 7.5. 100% effort and was everywhere but still a couple of poorly weighted passes.
Fitz 7. Good work rate.
Simon 7. Good game and good assist
Sterj. 6. Looked tired and played too deep.

Bernies goal was expertly taken.

If sit so deep against the Drive bys....we will lose.

i watched the game @ campbelltown catho..and was surrounded by knuckledraggers (fair enough) and wanderer fans(who had a game on 20 minutes away) who, while freindly enough, was a smarmy arse saying the hearts were gonna cane us...engels goal will go into heart legend and rightfully so, i thought we needed to lift in the first half , it was a bit iffy, lots of turnovers...then just as i said matty & kim dont work well together...they crack one home....bernie comes on and the team lit up leading to the winner...jap ref was on QLD time, anyway drive by says to me" you were lucky...i said to them Go Perth and went and eon $700 on the pokies ( for a $20 outlay..nice)
