ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Big game, i'll take a dour 1-0 win. Get this won and us along with WSW and the Roar are pulling away. Won't be easy with Monty out and Bosnar and Kimmo not having played for a while (if they start). Victory have alot of dangerous players even though they have been under the hammer lately.

Griff is out injured, so maybe Cernak in for Griff. I reckon Seip to start & if he's cleared, Bosnar on the bench. Only reason Seip to start is Bosnar's match fitness (or lack thereof).

With Milligan back in midfield they won't be as ridiculous as they have been in recent games. Danger game, must win

I can't believe Mulligan is back this quick. Whoever is advising him needs to take a good look at themselves. It's a world cup year & he's a regular.
Risking it all.
Especially the way aussies are going with injuries right now.

We have had way worse players than Siep in our back 4 over the years.
I totally agree,

But then I thought about it... We've had some quality in CB Wilko, beachie, vidmar, patty, sains, doig, ando etc Siep is on par with boogard, better than porter maybe?

Who cares what he convinced Celtic to do. It's the wrong place for him. He did alright for himself, not rogic.
Where was he 'supposed' to go and who wanted him?

Im awaiting the old cliche scottish football is detremental to development, long ball yadda yadda yadda he cant play well in that environment etc.

Mark Viduka got his shot in the 'shop window' so to speak at celtic, earnt his place, peformed well that allowed him to go on to bigger and better things. The cream rises to the top, it doesnt have continuous excuses and come back to the A league after a few years of failure as a 'marquee'

Oh please god no. Not Seip. Anyone but Seip. Put me on, coach, I'm ready.
Bosnar (if he's allowed to play) won't be fully match fit, so I'd rather have him on after the 60 so he can go strongly to the finish. If we start with him, we bring on Seip to finish off. I know which way I'd prefer to go. I'm assuming Morton isn't a CB?

At least Seip hasn't been sent off yet, and he's only given away one penalty which Reddy saved.

He didn't have to go anywhere. Viduka owned this league BEFORE he left. Rogic hadn't even played 50 first class matches in his whole career. & now he is back here playing in a system that doesn't suit him for a coach that has no idea to try & get to a world cup that he wont be ready for.
Mark Viduka is not Tom Rogic. Completely different players, So your "comparison" is pointless. Rogic will never make it at Celtic. NEVER. They are a big fish in a f**king small pond. Put him in a mid table team in Germany, Holland, Belguim, Switzerland & he will get game time & he will learn.

What should have happened was he stayed here & earned his money later. I mean come on, our most talented ball player in over a decade & he goes to Celtic?

By the way, its not an old cliche. Scotsman.
