. i saw ante milicic on the world game say that was the explanation given to the wanderers (after popa's protestations) and he seemed accepting ... only that it wasn't about saving a 1-on-1, but that the touch was so heavy ryan would have got to the ball first regardless

Bit concerning that we were so far off our game today, had a few poorer matches over the last few weeks.....I wonder if all this talk about trials and losing players is having an impact, or what's going on? I wonder if it's just a coincidence that Hutcho seems to be moving back to his old hothead ways over the last few matches?

While I'm still frothing at the mouth.....I forgot to mention Breeze robbing us of a Grand Final win in 2011 (no doubt under orders....or could he really be that shit a ref???) against Bris when he amazingly went blind just as Bojic was hacked in front of him with seconds left on the clock.
Oh and what about what happened at the Scumdome this season.

When was I taking the moral highground? I've not NFI what you're on about....lol

The main things I remember from the GF are Roar scoring the equaliser after the rugby league shoulder charge on our player in the corner, and not playing stoppage time despite 2 substitutions in the end of extra time.....ah buggar it, we've had bad decisions go in our favour as well as against, happens to every team - though we've copped it the most in the grand finals. Still, clinging to the past certainly isn't a good habit for any yellow shirt-wearing fan, and it's not like the referees are the only reason we haven't one a grand final.

Fark, I'd rather have our trophy cabinet than anybody else's, to be honest, but it's going to feel bloody great when we can stick it up the doubters when we do hold that toilet seat high.

Gosford council may as well declare the following Monday a local public holiday, because I imagine there would be a few sickies taken ;-)
