Cant wait for this one. Will be going down for the game. Really not sure how we will go, WSW are in form. Lets say a 2-2 draw.
The next few rounds are going to be a challenge so I hope we can at least get some results.

Premiership determining series of games ahead, if we can break the wanderers at home, I believe we will continue in form. Ono is key but I think Mooy is actually who we need to watch. 3-1 mariners, Mcbreen to have a shocker but fire up and score 2

Western Sydney Wanderers vs Central Coast Mariners - Sunday, 6:00pm EDT – Parramatta Stadium, Parramatta. Team & Ladder Ranking: Western Sydney Wanderers are 3rd. 7W 2D 5L. 23 Points.Form (Recent->Least Recent) & Last Result: WDWWW. 2-1 win, home against Melbourne Victory.Ladder Movement: A Wanderers win would tighten the league ladder considerably, putting Western Sydney potentially within a game of Adelaide and 4 points away from Central Coast. A loss would reverse that, especially if Melbourne Victory fail against Wellington.Keep Up The Good Work: Shinji Ono. His form has improved week on week and last week was a masterclass in finishing and close control.Things They Could Have Done Better Last Week: More stupid yellow cards mean Hersi and Beauchamp both miss this match, and they let Spase Dilevski fire on goal from well outside the box. Wanderers need to be at 110% to take home the prize in this match.Team & Ladder Ranking: Central Coast Mariners are 1st. 9W 3D 2L. 30 Points.Form (Recent->Least Recent) & Last Result: WLDWW. 1-0 win, home against Perth Glory.Ladder Movement: There is a nautical saying that 'a stern chase is a long chase' and the Mariners are being hunted down by three other clubs. To continue the nautical theme, the Wanderers could come alongside and fire off a killer broadside at the little yellow ship that could. A draw or loss is equally a failure in their current situation.Keep Up The Good Work: Bernie Ibini got a lucky no-call on his goal, setup by a clear hand-ball, he continues to improve. Their defence stayed solid against Perth despite a few chances missed by Perth.Things They Could Have Done Better Last Week: Kwasnik could learn to stay onside. Arnie could learn to stop whinging but we all know that'll never happen. They can't perform like they did against Perth and expect to win this match.Prediction: Wanderers are in scintillating form. A big win in front of a big crowd to cement their premiership aspirations. 3-0.

This game will be a very difficult one. Only weeks ago I went into every game confident the boys could sweep all before them...until Wellington.
We have the entire squad available basically with the notable exception of Rogic - and with more than a couple of days between games this time I believe they are due to hit some form again.
That said in the past 2 & 1/2 years whenever the Mariners have been out of form the results tend to be moediocre against mediocre teams, and good against good teams.
I believe this'll be a Mariners win, but it's going to be a very very tough game.

hahaha! They really don't know the Mariners.
Like cornflower and water - the harder you hit the more cohesive they become! (Try this if you never have by the way, needs to be a paste. Sit a finger on it and it sinks in, slap or punch it...what's that? Can't get through, cohesive as a Mariner)

Hmmm.... Wanderers.... 7 wins, 2 draws, 5 losses. The last win was 2-1 at home against a side that had 26 goals scored against them this season. The only other teams to concede as many are Bling FC with 30 and the Scum with 28, who are currently last and 8th on the table respectively. Personally, I wouldn't call such form "scintillating", but perhaps that's just me.

If Montgomery and our back four get their act together then it follows that there's no way they'll score 2 against us. Our challenge is to score against the Wanderers away as their goals conceded record is very solid and second best in the comp - behind us of course .

I'm tipping we'll win by one goal either 1-2 or 0-1, but the boys are going to have to improve a little over the past few weeks' form to avoid the draw.
