Joyful are you going down to Geelong for your "First Home Game";)
How you handling this year?
Is Mooy and Fonzi making you regret anything or is Roy's head doing you proud?
See City trying for Sky Blue again although next year looks unlikely.

Bingham has great opportunity to play over next 8 games.

Heff. Also will get to show he can press. If he can finish like he did at his previous clubs then he may get 20/30 minutes on regular basis.

Kalik could be played as a false 9 ....as previously suggested. We really have to give him minutes .......I am 100 percent sure he can play at this level even at such young age and even with a lot of physical developement/growth to come.

A top coaching decision to drop AC and Fitzgerald. Now they both have to be taken back into the fold . Our squad is not deep enough to have them both on outer.Huge investment has gone into both young men.

Great podcast this morning with chairman/owner featuring. Great listen.

Heff press made me chuckle MS06. And a moot point now.

Re Bingham, yeah presume so. But personally I'd prefer to see Neil left wing and switch Austin to the other side so he can cut back onto his shooting foot, and put Fab upfront. He's the best goal scorer in the side now by a good margin.

Re back into the fold... Really don't see it happening. They were the ones who put in for releases even though they were starting virtually every week and TW did nothing but sing their praises that I heard. And now they want-away?

Maybe Fitz... there's a lot less chatter around him and might not have a parasite as an agent.

I get the sentiment, but hard to know if in practicality this is even a remotely good idea. It might be a terrible one. There could be a lot of ill will between the playing group, understandable loss of belief in them by the coaches and their team mates. You might say they can all just shrug that off. But this can't always happen, and it could easily be yet another disaster that hampers our rebuilding.

Push on with those who want to be here and play for the badge and continue with the clean out of those who never really should have been signed to begin with. If we're going to spoon, much rather watch a bunch of passionate kids grateful to get their chance like Trent, than those who think they're too good to take responsibility for what is happening on the park.

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
maybe Bingaz and Heff on from the off.....with #ThatBoyTrent getting a run late since his a goal magnet....as long as The Arrow and The Flash can do their thing, we might have a shot

Word is Heff has been advised he should look for other opportunities because he's not in consideration ie not up to standard.

Shame but not surprising. He hasn't been used much at all and obviously not in TW's long term plans. Will be interesting to see what eventuates over the Jan transfer period as that will give us a big nod to next season. There are four or 5 players that could move on in that stage. If Cac goes we desperately need a decent number 10, and if Heff is no longer in the plans, plus Roy's suspension, we are absolutely desperate for a striker and probably 2. All i want from now till the end of the season is hand the spoon position to the Jets and show continued improvement that gives us hope for next season.

Finkler's back in for this game

Christ... The distance from "Indefinite" to "Starting" isn't very far is it? - Good thing I didn't update my tip based on him not being there ;) ... Putting my faith in "The Curse of Free-to-air" now in stead ;)

Victory has too much depth anyway - focus on Finkler and barbarouses or Berisha will do the damage anyway.

We're looking a different side. But the nix were off their game. This will be a better measuring stick.

We desperately need a 10 if he stays!

As for team news ahead of Friday night’s clash with Victory in Geelong, Walmsley confirmed 21-year-old striker Josh Bingham will replace suspended Roy O’Donovan up-front.

Keeper Tom Heward-Belle is likely to retain his spot and new signings Francesco Stellar, Trent Buhagiar and keeper Ali Bray should also be in the squad for the clash at Simmonds Stadium.

Walmsley described the pacy Buhagiar as an attacking weapon he simply could not overlook for this game.

So according to the stories about Caceras, Bingham gets first go upfront and Tinker Belle in front to start again.

Heffernan is a good striker but we not prepared to change our style to suit the best goal scorer in the club according to TW early in the season. See ya Heffernan the dream is over
