Well done GC and Miron! They came with a gameplan and plenty of heart. Sure they played negative, but our team is that good right now, that if they opened up we would have slaughtered them. And ask any last place team if they would take a 0-0 with 1st place, and they will say yes, no questions asked!
The worrying thing is that this is the 2nd game that a team has sat back against us and drawn 0-0...what teams would do it in future? I think Phoenix, Perth and Adelaide may well adopt a similar game plan!

ONLY because of a mature response to that 1 on 1 vs Brown? Where he didn't foul the player (thus avoiding a red card). Sooooo many gk's in this league are scrappy and always go for a lovetap instead (Theo, Covic, Vukovic, Reddy). Apart from that a solid gk performance (would have given him a 7.0 or 7.5 otherwise)
Bojic= 7.0
so much more confident, good combination and attacking!
Wilko= 7.5
great defending, and what a great passer of the ball from the back
Dutchy= 8.0
Useful in both attack and defence, love him. Offer him a contract! Such a shame he is suspended next week
Rose= 6.5
He is the one least firing in our team...but I back him to improve, and when he does- other teams should be scared!
Hutch= 6.5
Did his job well
McGlinchey= 7.5
Great dribbling and link up
Bozanic= 7.0
Did well, slowly edging back to form.
Amini= 6.5
A quiet game for a change, but he is young and is entitled to one here and there! It wasn't so much his fault, just great defending from Gold Coast. Way faster than last year!
Bernie= 7.5
Great energy ad enthusiasm. Thank God this kid has emerged otherwise we would be totally screwed following Simons departure
Simon= 7.0
Frustrated, but as he always does, he ran hard. Great spirit. Knowing Matty Simon, he will be PUMPED for next week (I think he will be disappointed after today)

McBreen= 6.0
Would have rated him higher, except poor decision making for taking 2 stupid shots, losing us the possesion. Great linkup though
Hearfield= 6.5
Great impact of the bench, I wonder how him and Bernie would go? I realise it will 90% be, McBreen and Bernie
So who to replace Dutchy next week?
Hopefully Griffiths is fit, and we do a straight swap!

were we watching the same game? Bojic was shite as he has been most of the season. His crosses are so ineffectual. Hutch may have had a bit of mongrel about him but the amount of times I saw him not chae down a ball when he was dispossessed was pathetic.

I watched via television, as opposed to you live...
On the Hutch...did you care to compare it to the other ratings? 6.5 was equal lowest for a starting player...so I'm happy to stand by my comments, he did his job well, distributed, made tackles...obviously griffiths does this better, but he is injured!
I agree. It seems like everytime we get a big crowd we either play like crap or the other team stifles the game (as per usual Gold Coast).
