My spider sense tells me Tav wont be back in a hurry.

I'd like to see Powell dropped for Berry and push Rose to 10. Cant work any worse can it?

Does Micky Neill have pictures of Okon rooting a goat or what?
Not confident with Tav and Storm still out.
Posco has become the invisible man in the squad.

Expecting Trent to start. Also wouldn't be entirely surprised to see Kabsy start. Was much more direct and threatened more than both Fabio and Connor the other night. He knows it's the last chance for his career really, and has been training the house down from what I've heard.
I'm feeling this points will be shared, 2-2 or 3-3. There will be goals, I'll be jumping on over 3.5 goals at $2.51 thank you. It is basically free money.

You could be on the money PP, City struggling defensively without The Great Dane so we might hear the cannon. Would be very surprised if we keep a clean sheet against City after the V game debacle.

Again going with absolutely no confidence of a good performance so I'm not disappointed. Will not be hard to improve on the last performance.

Sooooo on a separate but related note.
I have visitors coming from overseas, who insist on doing what we normally do on NYE - which is nice nice but...
As the incapable don't that i can be, i failed to consider that i only have two extra tickets and that obviously they're GA not gold.
So i looked at the price on the website and HOLY MACKEREL!
Does anyone know if there's still a members discount on the tickets? And if so, how it gets applied?

Hoping we can pull one out of the bag. This game means a lot to me and I hope we can prove that you don't need to sell your soul to be a better football club.

Well no Tav or Roux, so looking at the same formation. Yay
You need the same optometrist as the players

On the right of Fab furthest from the lens (zoom in) looks like storm to me (hard to tell) and on the other side in same position just above Monty's head is a certain bald head we desperately missing. It's a bit where's wally but they there.

Whether they are fit is another thing

Good to see Ryan Peterson is seemingly training with the squad full time as well.

Considering the heat the other night some rotation would be smart.

Maybe Ashcroft back in for Faty who played his first game in a month and might suffer backing up.

Maybe Berry in for Rose or Powell

Definitely Trent in maybe for Pain (come from bench) and Appiah for Fab to start the game with effort

Would like to see Bingham on bench

Peterson for Neill might be an interesting one as well. For youth team watchers is Steve Whyte ready for the A-League?

Shutting down Bratton will be the key, ala Rostyn Griffiths style. He did a good job on him both games Perth played city, especially the 1st one in the early rounds. Every time there was a bit of push and shove, Griffiths was in Brattons face, regardless of whether Bratton was involved or not. It unsettled him and affected city's flow in getting the ball to Cahill and Fornaroli.

If Faty is in the starting 11, would love to see Harry start in the midfield to be one to mark Bratton.

There is no way Mickey Neill can start at left back tonight, if he does there is no one else to blame for the hiding we will take other than Okon. Ashcroft to right back with Galloway back across to the left.

The other issue is we keep blaming the losses on individual errors, big issue is the style of play is causing these errors. We are turning the ball over in the back third of the pitch far too often and getting punished because we put ourselves under pressure by trying so hard to maintain possession. All teams make mistakes just no where near as many as we do at the back as their coach and players are smart enough to realise giving 2 - 3 goals a game away is not going to deliver results.

We need to defend first and play possession when appropriate. The players need to make decisions based on what is happening on the field not a mad philosophy to keep possession at any cost.
