ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

He would be a better fit at Newcastle. (with all the other dickheads)

Absolutely correct. Would be a huge mistake to have whiny, 'look-at-me-I-deserve-special-treatment-'cause-I'm-so-wonderful' Culina at our Club. It would ruin our team\Club culture.

Arnie can work miracles, but this one is even too big for him, I think.

Perfect fit for the Newcastle Scummers.

Means we might have our first Testimonial!

*opens article*

The club will commemorate his decade at Bluetongue Stadium with a testimonial match to be played before the next A-League season.

Next year? We should really wait till season 10.

He cops a bit but I think he's had a great year (tbf so has the whole team) - I like the Hutch/Monty pairing so it's good we will keep this going for a couple of years.

I don't think anyone fires up more than Hutch for the F3 derby!

Read the comment by GA that you can build a club around people like Hutch... my guess he will get less game time but will help with the kids as they come tho the academy...

Seems the Japanese international deal is off for this season - though he is on a free from June

THE Mariners have failed in a bold bid to bring Japanese flair to the crescendo of their season, but chairman Peter Turnbull still hopes 31-cap international Daisuke Matsui could be at the club next year.
Central Coast had been negotiating a coup that would have brought Matsui to the Mariners for the rest of the A-League season and the Asian Champions League campaign, and the player is understood to have been keen on a short-term cut-price deal.
But Matsui's Bulgarian club, Slavia Sofia, have refused to release the 31-year-old without a transfer fee and the Mariners' ACL squad has to be submitted to the Asian Football Confederation on Tuesday.
The closure of the A-League transfer window also means the attacking midfielder, who played for Japan at the last World Cup, wouldn't be able to play in the last rounds of the domestic competition.
It comes as Western Sydney Wanderers continue talks with Matsui's compatriot, Shinji Ono, about him returning next season. Those negotiations are likely to continue into next week.

While it's understood that Turnbull still hopes that Matsui could be a target for next season, the Mariners do have the prospect of a more immediate - albeit less exalted - signing in former New Zealand Knights striker Kris Bright.
While Graham Arnold's squad heads to Perth to face Glory tomorrow, the 26-year-old will play for the Mariners youth team this weekend in a bid to win an injury-replacement contract as cover for Adam Kwasnik.
