ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
This is one of my all time favourite postsI usually love it when the sea eagles fly close to my house, but I just shouted at them to fcuk off.
Nothing is good right now.
they only have to be involved often enough to tip us out of the play offs .Alen Stajcic "If it is going to take three pens every week to beat us I think we're in a good spot."
To correct that
"If it is going to take three pens every week to beat us I think we're in a good spot - unless Fielding is the ref and Ams is the on the VAR."
This, especially around the first penalty. You’d be hard pressed to find someone who believed that was ok yet VAR did not push a review or overrule on advice only. It’s not a tech issue, it’s not a process issue, it’s a people issue and there’s only one solution. What's to train? Honestly, how can you be at the level to be in charge of running a professional football game yet lack the "training" to tell what every half blind football punter in the world can tell you. They're either absurdly incompetent or malicious cheats. Either one should disbar them from officiating.
I get the frustration but COVID leaks aren’t their fault or foreseeable, at least on a specific state level, and the WA hard border is the main issue. The only two answers are progress as is or force Perth in to a hub. This laziness or incompetence has also been lately with the handover / covid draw making and the whole running of this year.
Send Mauk back to Orc! He looks like an alien.Agree.
What happens next is important in the context on how big that blight is.
Mauk needs to be referred to the Match Review Committee.
There has been a precedent set already (Perez getting 2 weeks in 2010)
He needs a minimum of at least that.
If not, the blight on the game justifiably gets bigger.
Without consequences the apology or admission is empty.I want to hear what sanctions the FFA are bringing against Fielding and Ams for gross incompetence and bringing the game into disrepute.
f**k. Fellow forumites, not everyone is home to watch games live. Please don’t post spoilers in threads that are not about those games. We have the “other A League games thread” specifically for this. Thx0 - 0 after 90 mins in SYD v BRI, which suits us.
sorry fp . even knowing the score . the classic destruction of okon ball with 61% possession is pricelessf**k. Fellow forumites, not everyone is home to watch games live. This is the heart of the matter.Without consequences the apology or admission is empty.

Don’t hold your breath Womby....I want to hear what sanctions the FFA are bringing against Fielding and Ams for gross incompetence and bringing the game into disrepute.
I think once the var official wants a review for infringements like that he should notify the match official without any information exchanged between the two and the match official looks at it again to see if he would over turn his decision based on the replay. The issue I believe is two officials that each might have a different interpretation of the rules. This, especially around the first penalty. both stooges have a proven record against the mariners .I think once the var official wants a review for infringements like that he should notify the match official without any information exchanged between the two and the match official looks at it again to see if he would over turn his decision based on the replay. I don't buy into the proven record theory even though there's substantial evidence to the contrary. VAR is here to stay they just need to get rid of differing interpretations than that of the match official. We need one person in charge again. If they don't surrender control of VAR decisions to the match ref then they should put an ex player in the control room.both stooges have a proven record against the mariners .
the var is total shit everybody knows this .
in the hands of bagmen like fielding and ams. it's like trying to win an election in russia
