ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
he must have a good thing going on at melbourne nights'.If they got 40 odd CVs for the job, then I presume Cahn did not submit his own application but was approached.
Why else would he say no?

You have a misconception of Talay if you think he failed. Do you not recall him making Monty very much look like a first time inexperienced manager in some games. He also isn’t recycled in my opinion, he did three years at Nix and wanted to come home. Compare that to Rudan who jumped ship as soon as he could.Yeah will need more concrete info on Cahn apparently saying no. I don’t not believe it but I don’t want to get carried away. It would kind of make sense given Knights have a genuine chance of making aus cup final… I dunno.
IMO I think our case is special in that, there possibly could be a foreign applicant but would they completely buy into the coast, the club and the academy? The smooth transition is so crucial in these moments for a small club with a largely established successful squad.
The first reason Monty had success was he knew the club inside and out. And then with some help basically built the academy to where it is..
Abbas only would have a good grasp of what the clubs about given he hasn’t been here 12months yet, but more importantly knows the academy inside and out. He’s my #1 candidate at this point. It’s good to hear from a couple people that the squad are trusting in him already.
I don’t want Talay near our footy club, either. Or any failed recycled aleague manager.
Heard on the grapevine that Cahn said no… ?
He could be on decent money, Knights might be in NST next season, any number of reasons. I hope he is still in the race though.Money?
My source is to date, pretty well 100% accurate.. would be happy for this to be a ding in his otherwise faultless rep!!! ?Heard from Cahn that this is not true.
Sorry I should’ve phrased it better, I don’t think talay had failed at all.You have a misconception of Talay if you think he failed. Just my thoughts. But I would imagine some coaches wouldn't worry about the money.Money?
All good I get there are mixed feelings on him.Sorry I should’ve phrased it better, I don’t think talay had failed at all.
But I don’t believe he’s the right manager for us.
People with memories dont want the SFC grub anywhere near us.All good I get there are mixed feelings on him.

yes he done adequate at the NIx BUT I still dont want the Sonic snapping f**ktard anywhere near the placePeople with memories dont want the SFC grub anywhere near us.
He is only waiting for the SFC job anyway. Big Monday call. Its not him regardless of what his media mates say.
He will be too expensive.
(Thats not based on anything other than my dislike of him. I just cant see CCM doing it)
Well, possibly. But if it’s not true, surely that truth is always going to come out.I don't want to hurt any chances Ben has, so I won't say anything more.
But, I'd question why you're hearing he's said no.
Would it be an easy excuse for not picking the fan's (and obvious) choice.
Yeah I removed my post - just having a whingeIt's not the Mariners way to stand in an Individual's development.
Unfortunately this means that contracts mean nothing.
