ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Ive discussed the situation with dad as he is a personal friend of Montys. As much as we both love Monty and Serge and we wish them well no matter what the outcome our allegiance is to The Mariners as a Football Club. We will support them through thick and thin. Tomorrow is just the start of the next leg of our football rollercoaśter ride. Mariners til we die!

Ben Cahn was our Academy Coach. He was doing an awesome job and brought Nizzy and Dan Hall to the club. He was ousted by Okon to put in a "yes man" Sully. Okon was actually scared that Cahn would eventually take his job as Okon's plan A was not working. Sully eventually took over from Okon with woeful results.
Cahn then went back to Queensland NPL and turned Olympic FC into a powerhouse, breaking all sorts of club records along the way.
This year to departed to join Melbourne Knights and took them to the finals for the first time since 2015 and they scored the most goals they have ever scored in a season.

Really nice bloke too. Already knows the club really well. He is the perfect fit.
Perfect summation. Agree with all of this. What made me think even more highly of him as a person was when he went out of his way to come and say hello to Luke Boyce and l on a Brisbane away day 2019ish, can't remember specific date but it was a nice thing to do and even after being shafted by previous administration, had nothing but praise and love for the club and always appreciated anyone who came to watch and support his NPL side.

As Wombat said, he's the perfect coach and person for us as a club.

Shafted by Okon and Jolic but neither had the guts to face him

Serious question. Have we even approached Cahn? Is he even in the running?

We can talk about how great he would be but if he isn’t in the frame, is there anybody else at all we are looking at?
