Heard from Ben today he will possibly be out a few weeks, no point risking him before season proper. Nothing to major though. Just to much training constantly over the last few months with socceroos.

Not a case of anything being "wrong" with Clarkey and less likely to happen if Wilko is out with injury imho. It's more a thought along the lines that the pre season among other things is an opportunity thats used by HAL coaches to blood new and younger squad members, to see if they are going to stand up or look to have what it takes for the season proper. In the case of a new young and up coming fringe player being brought into the side - D Apuzzo, and the honourable veteran whose gracefully moving on - Clarkey - it's just a possible selection that wouldn't surprise me...

Good point.As long as we don't get an absolute hammering from anyone I'm not that bothered about pre season results.
