ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Goddamn those netballers! and all their smiling, laughing, jumping oh so prettily act!
It's all a massive con! If only they could have seen the gunmen that fired on those poor innocent NRL boys at the Cross, I bet you there would have been a pleated skirt and singlet with a giant GD on it not too far away!!!

Ahhhhhaaa MAN, just finally bought the "final episodes" and watched the last disc sunday night!
Mwahahahaha... going to be a long time before something wins me as completely as the Sopranos - though one potential mad man just told me that "Underbelly" is even better??
Staggeringly big call imo, but am yet to see any eps.

Oh on thread... ummm, well.... I guess NRL is organised crime too isn't it?  :p

How frustrating was that last episode!! Don't know if I would say Underbelly is better, but definitely worth a look if you liked the Sopranos. Sopranos was more of a cold war most of the time and Underbelly is just BAM BAM BAM drugs, sex, violence.

Have you seen The Shield? You'd probably like that one too... might be good to catch up on that series until something new comes out :pirashoot:

And since when is NRL "organised" :p

Well, they had some thing today for "100 years of Interstate Rivalry" to celebrate Origin in the NRL's Centenary Year.......... which is just flat out funny because Origin started in 1980.

Ahhhhh the last episode... I think the writers enjoyed doing that to us immensely!
Re The Shield, ohhh yeah saw a preview a while back and thought it looked pretty good.
Think I may well follow up on that advice - always like to have a series at hand by my DVD player.  ;D
thx adz!

I watched four hours of Underbelly on Wed night; riveting telly, especially as it is true, but not yet in the same class as:

The Sopranos
The West Wing
Homicide: Life on the Street
Phoenix
Phoenix II

The Shield is outstanding TV, and despite my initial reservations, Michael Chiklis is convincing as the truly evil Vic Mackey. The woman who plays his spasmodic love interest (she is the uniformed copper who is partnered with the gay Afro-American dude) is a seriously yummy mummy, not quite a Nigella but very nice.

When will NRL die... admittedly I went to the rabbits and dogs game last night. Would've left after about five minutes no atmosphere at all and would have died from boredom if my girl hadnt gone with me.

Anyone keen on going and ripping flares as an 'experiment' to see if it will get the same mention in the media as a sokkah game

How do CCM fans like the NEWCASTLE knights playing at Bluetongue?

Not impressed. It's a double whammy innit?

Thuggery League knuckle dragging no-neck morons and scum sucking bogan wankers, all in one package.

Sad.

I hope they remove the stink before next pre-season.

I had a thought the other day that it would be kinda funny if, during the HAL off season, the Marinators took up their position in Bay 16 at an NRL match @ Bluetongue and sung and carried on as per usual, and what sort of "WTF?" looks it would get from the NRL fans.
"Brad Fittler's Tri Coloured Army" doesn't have the same ring to it though.
