I would love to see us sign Kevin Phillips of Birmingham City.  He's 36 but looks as fit as.

Scored a double the other week and looked sharp as.  Not starting for Brum and is 5 times the striker that Aloisi ever was.

Wages might be a bit steep but he would be a good mid range marquee (far better than Sterjovski) and would score 15+ a season.

"Apparently" big money will be spent on a creative central midfielder (probably from Argentina), we're also negotiating with someone who can play left or central, they would be a good signing.
