I thought roar pulled the pin on the academy.

That’s why we are now paired with the sports school (marsden I think it was).

They still have the NPL and I think a couple of age level squads underneath. But axed their younger age group teams.

I spoke with Benny, he said leaving Melbourne was tough after what he had started there.

But living there has also been tougher than expected.
He has a good relationship with people at Brisbane Roar so he's taking on their Technical Director of the academy.

With his second being born recently, he needs to be at home.
Hopefully he can climb the ranks and secure a full time A-league gig there.

He said he's also extremely grateful foe all the people who have backed him and wanted him here.

Below u16 they did. Albany Creek high has some program linked to roar. 2 of the main guys from raor academy run the program there and roar still pay them directly.

I would imagine the Roar are planning that he'll be the guy after Ross.

If he's saying to you he needed to go home for the family, and that's to be believed, then, if he took a job at the Mariners offered to him it would have been the worst case scenario for both us and him, considering the family reasons that he left the Knights for.

It's one or the other. He can't have both. Nether can the rest of you, too close to home, central coast, blue white and red, mofo's.

The recruitment person at CCM was telling others that Ben didn't want the job.
That was a lie.
Why the f**k would they need to do that?
Just say that he's not in our plans, no need to be f**kwits about it.

Yes. Currently Andres is acting as assistant, but Mark may look to bring his own. It won’t be Wilkshire.
