Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Rather interesting that Huke is the only OA player.

well normally i think we would see players like lewis, elrich and mjdra named in both, but since one team is playing in townsville and the canberra, its abit hard to have players in both sides. plus, the senior wouldve have to taken extra players in case of injuries

Too true, didn't look at it that way.

Wonder how long it'll be before Huke makes it back to the seniors.

If Huke gets back into the first team it will be because

a) we need a right back
b) Both Pedj and Crowell are out

You bet your life they will.

How could you expect to get into such a wonderful venue (CC Home of Football isnt it?) for free.

When does whoever plays get their numbers? Or do they keep them match to match?
I haven't seen a Youth match this season, I can recognise Redders (who couldn't?), D'Apuzzo, Dukic and possibly Huke but the other guys not a hope. It would be nice if some kind person would post a brief list.....please?

You will easily spot Nikas - owns the centre of the park and everything they do goes through him.

Worth dodging the household chores for a few hours to see him play.

You mean, the spectators don't get paid to come in?????
They ought to.

I thought that would be the case with him.

Fortunately I don't have too many household chores (I live in a small villa and my wife is retired....Krusty, if you see this and tell her what I just said, I'll kill you :) )
I have already made tentative noises about going to the match, so I will be there.

After being rubbished so much at the beginning of the season, wouldn't it be special if all 3 Mariners teams won their double?

Over-age numbers vary but others may be OK. This is the only list I have (from R8):

1. Andrew REDMAYNE (gk), 2. Nathan SHERLOCK (19. Dylan MACALLISTER +89' (Sherlock injured)), 3. Brad PORTER, 6. Manny GIANNAROS, 8. David D'APUZZO 10. Panagiotis NIKAS (c), 11. Matthew LEWIS, 12. Andrew CLARK OA, (7. Brendan GRIFFIN +60') 14. Brady SMITH, 18. Ahmad ELRICH OA, (17. David GULLO 60') 19. Dylan MACALLISTER OA (9. Gavin FORBES +60')

Substitutes not used: 20. Matthew Ryan (rgk)
