Academy with a strong 4-0 win this afternoon. Goals to Khoury, Bayliss x 2 and Kuol. Didn't seem as fluid as previous weeks but clinical when it counted.
Both sides (20's and NPL) definitely off the pace as you suggested. Got the wins though. Probably one of the strongest performances from Kuol I've seen when he came on and played up front.
I'd also suggest that Bradley Tapp is an excellent Centre Back even though he probably prefers midfield.

I think that's about the 3rd time Kuol has played up front. Not sure whether they believe that is his best position or if he is just a makeshift given the lack of other options (especially with Dor Jok in the ALM squad). He was a real handful when he came on yesterday. Does set up the prospect of having the Kuol brothers playing together upfront at some point this NPL season!

Get Alou back and play 4-3-3!

NPL 1st grade had a had fought 2-1 win tonight v St George.

League leaders Northern Tigers slipped up at home so I believe we are now top on goal difference from St George City, who we play away next Saturday night so forget any plans to watch the GF and tune in to NPL.TV instead. Will be a better game and probably a bigger crowd.

I'm going to suggest Lachy Bayliss & Bradley Tapp. Others you will have probably seen make cameo's in A-league squad.

From what I've seen this season Windust, Kuzevski, Tapp, McCarthy & L Bayliss could all make the step up into the first team next year (obviously some already have played some senior games), still half a season of NPL to go though

I’d heard ALOT of good things about Tapp before this past season and expected him to break through at some point. Hopefully next season. The younger Bayliss sounds like a real gem too.
