ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Are the Youth League Team playing against Adelaide this weekend despite the moving of the seniors game to the following weekend? KO time?

Did anyone see how Merenda played and if he is senior team worthy?

his passing and completion rate was outstanding in the first half

tired badly in the second half

Sounds like a few more games in the Yoof for him, maybe some benching and 10 or 20 minutes in seniors if needed?

Not sure Redders will be too pleased with his 1st half.

Just a v poor side TBH. Try hard but most of them cant really compete at this level. That might be because they are a comparatively young side and will come good next year but i'm not so sure

. only saw the second half, by which time we were already down by 4

. my views on what i have seen of the team:

.. they seem to like to pass the ball around which is a good thing
.. but they complete too few passes. a lot of the time they are too soft giving the opposition the chance to intercept or the pass is slightly mis-directed (often behind the player or where they were) which has the same result
.. they do get pushed of the ball pretty easily
.. all of this gnaws at their confidence and all their problems compound and become self perpetuating

. i still don't know who most of the guys are, its a bit tough from the stands when they don't have their names on their backs. admittedly i tend to watch the senior guys more closely ... evaluating their progress for the senior team

. that bald bloke we had playing for us played a few good balls though

Agreed, that bald german kid is probably too good for the yoof and should take Hutcho's place.

Reckon he would popular with the crowd too

:)

Wild ass guess more like but he ran around like a 20yo. TBH.

Played 90 mins and what is great, stayed with the rest of the kids as they talked with Tobin and Browny after the game.

Quality guy, quality professional.

Hutcho will start against the Tards as he is a favourite, you dont change a winning side and he is a tard himself so lots of family etc
