In truth he's a very accomplished poacher - who did well for us and looks much hungrier, fitter and sharper now than he did when he left us and played his first season for SFC - but has not been utilised/coached as well as he could have been since leaving us imo. Big mistake made by him. Though I would prefer pace an ball to feet skill striker -  he would most likely be a decent counterpart to Simon or McBreen, especially if we are getting new pacey wingers who can get better balls into the box more frequently.

But speaking of :ashamed: and what is shit...

Doesn't van Dijk come off contract this year? If we could afford him, he'd be good for us. Maybe offer him a marquee?
He'd take a lot of pressure off Matty and he can score from just about anywhere as well.
Just remembered he's not bad from the spot either!
