ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I have just read in this mornings Sydney Morning Herald that he has signed a two year deal with the Gold Coast side.

Bugger. We've paid his wages for four years for little return, now he's playing first team he's moved away.
Best of luck to him anyway

■ Gold Coast, meanwhile, have all but tied up Socceroos star Jason Culina to become their first marquee player, and have also added two other midfielders to the inaugural squad.

Central Coast Mariners workhorse Matthew Osman has signed a two-year deal, while 25-year-old former New Zealand Knights midfielder Zenon Caravella will return to the A-League after 18 months with Dutch lower league side FC Omniworld.

Not happy!! The guy has potential.... the knee injury set him back last season. Hopefully we will get some good play before he goes.

thats what is going to happen with 2 new franchises, blokes with potential will now be able to earn more $$ so its going to get tougher to hang on to quality players

Not what I had hoped for. But, even though I'm an Ossie fan, he has yet to deliver since returning from his injury and maybe a change of scenery is what he needs to get his game back on track...

This does however open the doors to other (both young and old) talent who may have not got a look in and can probably shine just as easily given the right circumsances.

I know this is bad for us to have one of our players leave, but welcome to the world of swings and roundabouts.

The more the a-league expands the more this is going to happen. All clubs will have their squads "raided" by the newbies.

Razorback will be pleased any way :)

Sad to see a foundation player leave and dont forget, he scored THAT goal at EAS in our first ever semi too.

Osman is a player we can replace and with expansion and lack of marquee i dont think it will be to hard to bring in a better quality player than Osman. He has served the club well and wish him well.
