ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

0-0 borrrrrring.
must be a league supporter, they just don't understand the appeal of an enthralling nil all draw ;) :p

Will be interesting to see the reports from those who went

lol. the only thing that league supporters actually get right about football is that 0-0 draws are boring !

I can sit and watch test cricket for 5 full days and still find a great deal of satisfaction in seeing a draw. 90 minutes of football hardly gives one enough time to get settled into ones seat, let alone to get bored  ;)

Typical LM sub.

Travis on at 84 mins.

If he was 22 he looked useful.

Who was the tall bloke up front in the second half?

I presume it was Doig at the back with Wilko ... looked pretty solid.

Defence was at least solid, and we didn't lose to Sydney!

Couldn't find Dibo, or Marinergirl anywhere!

I was out this evening and came in to find that we didnt concede.

Have I slipped into some paralell universe or did Aloisi and Brosque play?

Be hard to beat, lesson No1.

Everything else is a bonus

Reasonably cheered by this, we have only had a week back, new faces etc etc and Bling have been hammering all and sundry for a few weeks.

And we draw. Not too shabby

It might just re-adjust the arrogance that was starting to build in their supporters as well.

Unlikely, I work with a few SFC members and they are utterly convinced that they will walk it this season.

FFC's right - if you're hard to beat, that's a very good start. SFC *could* have scored, but if my dick had a nail it'd be a finger.

Triallists and new boys looked reasonable -

Lujic tried harder than Mrdja, plays reasonably with a back to a man and moves reasonably for a big lanky kid.

Doig is a mountain. Looked a little rusty early, but looks an organiser and a leader down back. It rubbed off on Wilko too, who kept his head up well and looked more like the Wilko of old.

Wales was very busy, showed a few good touches and runs and generally got stuck in well.

Lim Dong Sup I thought showed some real pace and a nice touch, but theres no chemistry yet that can only come with time and practice. Made a couple of iffy choices trying to play out of trouble, but generally looked handy even if a little out of place.

Of our returning boys, Boogs didnt look 100% comfortable in attack at right back.

Pedj looked good in CM. Strong, nice touches, looked in pain from a groin issue when he came off.

Hutch was tidy and consistently maintained possession, though the haters will surely be all over him for passing backwards too much.

Heff was Heff. Had some moments where he was good, but is still prone to getting caught out of position and watching play unfold behind him. Thats a kids mistake, with his pace hes got to get back in hes up and it breaks down

Danny was sensational. Some super stops, and only a couple of errant clearances.

Elrich is getting fitter by the looks. Some nice crosses but could still do with a yard of pace.

Kwas had a reasonable performance with a couple of trademark Kwas moments.

Caceres just didnt play well. He drifted in and out of the game a bit like Tommy used to, but without the Tommy product.

Travis was handy but the resemblance to Omni is deeply concerning. I dont think Omni has ever moved that fast though.

If he can run all day and into the night like Omni - that'll do me! With some nice head up vision and passing by the looks.

I hope Lim Dong Sup gets some more game time ... basically he was playing a different game to the rest of the team. If he can work out how to link up and read our play he looked useful, and a step up to our usual pedestrian pace.

At one point Boogs looked up to play the ball to him and he was off up the line and past his marker - a shame Boogs played a slow ball to the sideline where he had been.

This is not the thread to be reviewing games. That thread is in the Mariners section.

This thread is about fan organisation for the games.

Does anyone know anything about the 2 trialist, Lim Dong Sup and Milos Lujic?
