ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Knocks me out, public transport to Leichhardt is a bitch (or at least it was when I lived near there years ago). Makes it a bit late getting home on a work night too.
Oh well, just have to wait for the next event at BT.

Random q...but is your avatar Bono?

clearly

Was actually going to say it looks like a really bad Bono impersonator...

Yeah, I think it's supposed to be. I'm a big fan of U2.

Lambert Park not Leichardt Oval

Heaps easier for me to get to from the City after work too.
Likely to be in for this.....can give someone a lift back (unless they have swine flu of course - yes you!)
5 minutes from my house - five shades of awesome!
Sydney FC media release:

Sydney FC will continue its arduous pre season when it takes on fellow Hyundai A-League side the Central Coast Mariners in a pre season friendly at Leichhardt Oval on Monday evening (July 6) at 7:00pm.

The match was originally scheduled to take place at Knox Grammar School but unfortunately had to be moved following the recent run of wet weather that has adversely affected so many of Sydneys sports fields.

General Admission tickets for the match will cost $10 for adults, $5 for concession with children under the age of 14 admitted free of charge.  Tickets can be pre-purchased through the PROticket website (www.proticket.com.au) and at all PROticket Agencies, or by calling PROticket on 1300 12 10 12 (booking fee applies).

7pm kick off, Gates open at 6pm

So, is this actually at Leichardt Oval? (just to be clear) ?

The event no longer exists on the ProTicket site.
SFC and CCM sites both say Leichardt Oval (which, on Google Maps, is labelled Leichardt Park, in Lillyfield).

The only mention of Lambert Park (in Leichardt) was from FFC in the above posts. But it wouldn't be out of the question for the forum to be more up-to-date than the official clubs' sites if something was changed.

19 - Gan cross from the left picks out Aloisi but the marquee man's effort rolls well wide of the left post under pressure.

Nothing new from Aloi$i.

29 - Vukovic comes out to clear with a spectacular diving header on the edge of the box but the flag was up against Aloisi.

Hectic from Danny

Yeah, he is a bit one sided. But isn't everyone pretty much against the Mariners for some reason.

Hardly

22 - Mariners still to produce an effort on goal. Sydney enjoying far more possession but not really making anything of it.

and
34 - A decent effort from Mrdja. His strike whistles just past the join of left post and crossbar - well at least it looked close from this angle!

24 - Danning charges down the right and his cross deflects out for a corner. The Mariners clear the set piece.

Surely they're taking the piss.
