Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners vs Scum

Thanks Nark - to the CCM "fans" who went after the massed scum outside CCLC tonight, you are a f**king disgrace.

Dumb move of the police to leave the outside of the ground unprotected but you lot are just f**kwits - having said that, you probably dont come on here.

Thankfully I recognised none of our regulars and to the guy I dragged away while trying to attack a scum kid, suck it up.

Only 1 of you in colours too - you wont be happy until we are on the front page of the Tele will you?

As for the game, I expected us to get beat and the longer the game went on, the more I thought they might nick one.

No one really had a poor game for us but the scum were woeful.

Zura - crap
Song - diving whining little bitch
Sackwhack - overweight and unfit

You were pretty awful but I would get in early next week to watch your yoof side - absolute quality. Especially the young aboriginal (I think) kid.

Brilliant player

i dont think we played awesome. we have played way better than that... i think our ticker won the game for us - we werent casual and shut them down and hit them hard.

i bet the team isnt happy with little baby song. 1 minute to go, going for the equaliser and he lies on the ground? unfortunate and understandable if he has a broken bone, but otherwise, man up and finish the game with your team. even one of the newcastle players and went pushed him (assuming it was either a 'get up and fight' or 'get off the field and out of the way'.)

yeah, the fights were a bit ridiculous. MAJOR ROOKIE move by the authorities. sending them out at the same time, only 3 police around... it was just asking for trouble. i dont think any of the guys involved were us guys from here and/or bay 16. but i think this may not have happened (at such a large scale) if the police handled it the same way they usually do with derby matches. what i also dont understand is why a mariners fan would want to punch some guy he doesnt even know when we beat them. there is nothing to be angry at them about because we got the 3 points and they didnt.

We were solid on the field tonight, great passion, and great ticker to fight back after last week.

O'Grady was very good, best game in 3 years from him. Alex was good as well. We turned the ball over too easily at times, but to beat the Neanderthals is ALWAYS terrific.

Breeze was in good form, it must be said. He was so good you hardly noticed him.

I reckon we owned the Squadron tonight. Excellent TiFo, singing for 90 minutes and an unreal atmosphere.

I am on record as tipping a win tonight. I was quite confident. I also think we will beat the Bling. Our strike force is a worry for other teams, and we have NOT started scoring aerially yet. When we do, we will be a handful for EVERYONE.

Eggy, you have a new friend. My son reckons you are a legend (despite the fact the little bugger is an Arsenal man).

We will make the four, mark my words.

The times we looked to cross the ball in was really poor. Osman and Porter don't have the passing game to get balls onto Simon or Big Dyl's head from a cross IMO. We really miss Elrich in that respect (shit that was hard to say) and with him in place of Osman or Porter we would be a VERY dangerous attack playing three up front.

Owens is looking fitter every week and he is a good crosser of the ball. Gumps/Jedi in the middle and Caceres wide left.

how sharp was nikis touch.
unbelievable. what about when he almost kept that ball in play... he controlled it by tapping it through is legs and it was the most perfect touch. i cant wait til he gets fit and in true form.

im not usually one to dish out shit on porter... but today i thought he was terrible. he lost A LOT of possession.

He is easily the best striker in the HAL when (if) fit.

Didnt he look up for it tonight too.

We are ashamed to confess to the "who are ya" chant as he came on though lol

Back in Sydney, exhausted. Have never chanted and clapped so hard in my life!
The whole bay was awesome tonight.  :pirashoot:

Fantastic game by the boys, full of heart. We DO have depth in our squad and can go on from here with gumps back and others to soon follow. Great to see all the boys stepping up after last week. :eek:verhead:

it would b different if he wasnt so up himself though. his team mates dont call him elvis for nothing.

i thought it was funny seeing caseres thinking the crowd was all cheering for him as he came off tonight, but despite playing pretty well, most of the crowd would have been cheering for their gumps.
