If that's Lawrie's excuse then he needs to bench himself for leaving Travis on till the 90th minute.

Personally I think, as do most, Travis should be there from the start, he adds something to our play that we've missed since Tommy left.

I dare say Lawrie's plan is to win the midfield battles, as Jaza said, win the midfield and you're in with a shot, Sydney's midfield is very strong so we need to be strong.

Either way I believe we can still win tonight, Travis' frsh legs in the second half will hopefully be a big imapct!

Second half is too late. We need to score first and early to win this game. We have not won a grind it out match yet this year. If its 0-0 second half then it will remain so or we will loose.

and play very narrow with (hopefully) Chicken and Heff bombing forward down the flanks.

thats been our problem. The interchanging has not worked and we've been caught short defensivley in the middle.

Exactly. Dare say it will be more of a diamond with all four mids rotating. All except Wee mac will do a decent job in the DM role. After last week I am not confident of a win. but hey pessimism has its advantages.

LM hasn't approached this game the way I would have if I wanted to beat SFC. Any team that lets us get a foothold in any game is asking for trouble - if we get too much of a foothold we can steamroll any team in the comp inside the first half. I imagine he's gone to match strength with strength (Huke/Crowell v.s. Musialik/McFlynn), will be interesting if it pays off, as it really should stifle the creativity in theory.

Cole/Kisel v.s. Heffernan/Hutchinson should be a cracker.
