Oh baby, and the bay singing, whats the score Bolty?!!!!

:piralaugh: :piralaugh: :piralaugh: :piralaugh: :piralaugh: :piralaugh: :piralaugh:

I know its only  "pre season" but no one wants to lose three zip!!!!
:piano: :piano: :piano:

Go home and polish your horns Kossie!!!!

And the last twenty, running rings...Kossie.... RINGS around Bling!!!

Porter was outstanding, Big Dyl, was a powerful workhorse with touch, Sasho showed more guts than ever before and had a terrific game. D Appuzzo & Bojic both did a lot of great work and we will clearly have more pace and depth in defense this year which is bloody nice (Sign Pedrag I say). Caceres, been wanting someone of his skill and style for aeons now it seems  :eek:verhead: Ahmad, some great running and fantastic first touch to begin the setup for the first goal. Clarkey, excellent and composed. Nik looked like if he' stays together (fingers, arms, toes and eyes firmly crossed) that he is going to cause mayhem and that up front our strike force is going to be in very good shape, just had a lot more options when moving forward which is terrific and a breath of fresh air to be honest.

Bring back the Jedi to help counter the big monster backs like Og brute and Moore and we are looking in good shape for a very solid season to me.

There were some counter points, always is, but today I'm simply uninterested in listing them...

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Bozza, what a day mate, may you have some well deserved sweet football dreams tonight for the first time in what must be a goooooooodlllllllllllly long while, you deserve it old master. The genius still lies within, and for mind was most manifest in that he was one of the first keepers I saw do more than just yell at his defence after they put him in the shit, (Though he did plenty of that too ;D) he also got up the forwards and mids when they looked a little lazy to push back which was terrific and a good thing with players like Sash and Ahmad who may tend to drift in games.
And the penalty save.... aaaaahahahhaahhahahaahahaaaa....

Magic stuff!

Just magic!

It's almost made my season, and it hasn't even started!!!

:vhappy: :vhappy: :vhappy: :vhappy: :vhappy: :vhappy: :vhappy: :vhappy: :vhappy: :vhappy: :vhappy: :vhappy: :vhappy: :vhappy: :vhappy: :vhappy:

Soccersensei you have hit the nail on the head! Terrific game today led from the goal mouth of Bozzza! You wouldnt of thought he hadnt played in 6 yrs especially good to see him at half time to the undermanned Cove and give them some! Maybe Hutch needs to do that after the coin incident last year....

So didnt want Bozza to come off - truly deserved every inch of the standing ovation and he was so into it he went running off the ground.

As the marinators chanted SIGN HIM NOW LAWRIE!

Bozza - Awesome!

Macalister has a brilliant touch on him and seems to fit in well. Huge block who runs all game. I think he will probably start most games this season.

Also, top marks to the very few Coveites who bothered.

The bags of white powder demo was brilliant, the standing ovation as Bozza left the pitch was class

Well done

Mark Bosnich made a triumphant return and looks certain to sign with the Central Coast Mariners after a man of the match performance in a 3-0 win over Sydney FC in round 2 of the Pre-Season Cup.

Bosnish made the most of his first start in more than six years with a brilliant display between the sticks at Bluetongue Stadium, Gosford.

The former Australian and Manchester United shot-stopper made a dream return, pulling off several outstanding saves, inlcuding a penalty save from Sydney captain Steve Corica in the 70th minute.

Bosnich dived to his left to block Corica's spot kick after Brad Porter fouled Sydney striker Alex Brosque.

That saved followed a brilliant diving effort from a powerful shot from Terry McFlynn in the 29th minute.

He also pulled off two diving saves from open play in the second half.

The effort of Bosnich was the highlight of an impressive Mariners performance.

Porter opened the scoring with a well-taken goal two minutes before half-time.

The Mariners sealed their first win of the Pre-Season Cup with two goals in eight minutes midway through the second half.

Former Sydney striker Sasho Petrovski got the first in the 60th minute before replacement Nik Mrdja netted from the penalty spot soon after.

Sydney tried hard but lacked spark in attack, while the Mariners were very impressive in defence and attack.

Central Coast Mariners 3 (Porter 43, Petrovski 60, Mrdja 68)
Sydney 0

. c'mon razorback what did you think?

I expect he'll be busy for a little while yet.
He did actually say in the end that he'd like to eat his own words...
and there is a fair few to swallow  ;)
I'm sure he'll be online when he's done with a very sore jaw ;D ;D ;D

Impressed by Elrich after a mixed start where he didn't look the slightest bit interested in chasing.
