Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Agree with a lot that has been said with a few exceptions.

1) Not Kwassildinho, but Kwassie was very good down the left and worked extremely well with Rose and Ollie making many chances in the first half. Header was straight to the keeper and unfortunately he could not reach the cross on the far post like he did a couple of games ago, but both times as usual he was (unlike many of our strikers), in position.

2) Sainsbury. I think he still has a long way to go before being first team standard. We missed Pedj badly.

3) Patrick. Must have forgotten to take his medication. Worst game by far I have seen him play.

4) Sutton. Improved performance. I suspect he looked better because of the number of long balls we played suited his back to goal style. Still a way to go.

5) Rogic. Great performance good to see him play 90 mins. Still lacking stamina when he attains full match fitness he will be a star. Of all of them I hope we can get his name on a contract (suspect I am dreaming).

6) Bernie. Awesome. He is extremely effective coming off the bench when defences are tiring, his style can tear them apart. It will be good if and when he can do it from the start.

7) Hutch. Defensive mid is not his position. Great attempt at goal.

8) Rose. Great game. He showed two parts of his game that have been missing somewhat this season, running at defenders and shooting. He is too good not to have a go.

All in all I thought we dodged a bullet and a draw was a fair result. We showed snippets of the form of which we are capable which is more than I have seen in many of our last few games. Hopefully it means we are building to a peak at the right time.

Mom contenders: Rosie, Bernie, Wilko and Rogic.

I thought he was better too. Looked like Arnie's playing him in to be a longer ball (which we all know had not been our style) target man. Then he was quite good and strong holding the ball up when he got it. I'd suspect if he'd turned just one of those occasions into an assist or got something on the end of the chances in good positions he got into, we'd be singing a different tune. Like to see more workrate.

Actually I thought we really weren't bad. Obviously there were instances of cheap turnover, defensive errors and chances which coould have been finished but that wasn't the whole game. Sydney were quite good too, especially after half time.

I was hoping that the fact that their bags were packed to go from Bluetongue to China wouldn't be too much distraction.

Heard on the replay from one of the commentators that Arnie has hinted at using Musty at DM. This is where Dortmund reckon he should be playing and Arnie wants to see Rogic and Musty on the pitch at the same time.

Would love to see this happen. Has anyone seen recent training sessions?

Sounds good. I think Hutch is playing a lot better this season than the last couple, but he isn't really attacking enough... doesn't seem to be able to go forward as much as Rostyn did.

besides i think his best games this year have been on the left, keeping bozanic out of the team. even if musty doesnt play i think swapping them would be worth a shot

For me the answer is glaringly obvious ... Musty is a playmaker who sets up others.. Tomas is a playmaker who sets himself and sometimes others up...

Both need to be on the field at the one time... Musty as the 10 with Tomas a deep lying striker running onto the ball...

AS for Sutton I would use Duke and Berine playing in front of Tomas..

It was my first home game of the season (stuck in brisbane) so I chose the perfect night to attend (weather, performance etc). Despite all that the atmosphere was fantastic, Smurf fans deserve some credit they seemed to focus on supporting their team rather then the dribble the scum come up with.

Rogic is a rare talent he looks better in the flesh. Bernie added so much when he came on it's a shame we conceded within seconds of his arrival.
