ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Once a player pulls on different coloured jersey and runs onto the pitch he becomes the enemy. Tommy will do his best to dampen our spirits and make sure we lose every time we play the MV. So yeah respect before the game I agree with, but once the ref blows that whistle, its a different story...

Speaking at the launch of the new FIFA 09 video game, Bosnich said Victory's stellar start to season four undefeated in four rounds with 10 points from a possible 12 has them as early A-League favourites in his estimation.

"I think they are an excellent side, superbly captained by Kevin Muscat, my old teammate who has an amazing influence there. And they are also well managed and coached by Ernie Merrick," he told au.fourfourtwo.com.

"They're an athletic side, they're a mobile side, they play an exciting brand of football and I don't think it's a coincidence that they're top of the table."

Bosnich will face a Victory frontline shorn of Ney Fabiano but likely to feature the duo of Archie Thompson and Danny Allsopp.

Thompson, like Bosnich, is one of the talents and characters of the A-League and it will be a first for Coast's guest keeper to line up against the five goal 2007 A-League grand final hero.

"I haven't played against Archie so I couldn't tell you first hand [about him] but I've watched them very, very closely," he said.

"And with no disrespect to the other teams in the competition, they are favourites."

Bosnich continue to revel in his new life as a citizen of the Central Coast and being an A-League footballer.

"On the pitch I'm pushing myself hard, but I'm being smart about it. But there's a long way to go," he added.

"You've got to be smart. I'm very fortunate to have a superb manager and coaching team, goalkeeper coach, fitness coach and physios at the club. And they boys there have really looked after me.

"It's funny, I'm the oldest in the team but I'm like the baby of the group in a lot of circumstance. I'm the one that gets looked after the most. So I'm very conscious of that support and of course the family support.

"And I want things to continue in that manner."

Bosnich added that on a scale of 1-10, his happiness with life these days was "a seven".

It was definitely in our second away match in Sydney. I remeber thinking at the time that single act of determination could be significant at the end of the season. We ended up beating the Scum for the Premiership on goal difference... by a single goal.

Tommy P is a hero to most of us and he should be paid the respect he deserves when he comes onto the pitch on sat night.
Just hope he sits on the bench however as i would hate to see him score the winner.
Tommy P is a champ!

Anyone even thinks about booing my man-love Tommy P, then they will be receiving a nice little slap upside the head.

Best player we've ever had, left on great terms with everyone.  You'd be mad to even _think_ about saying a negative word about him.

Football, Tommy P and 10 other blokes to give him the ball.

Creative, inspirational and plays on the deck.

What would we give for someone like him this season.......................

No comparison really, Tommy is one of those players who drifts in and out of the game (more out than in TBH) and has seemed to do nothing all game. Then he will do something to turn the game on its head with an outrageous goal or defense splitting pass.

Tommy P should get a good reception from the crowd - if he doesn't perhaps we are not the club I'd hoped we were...

I think the performance of Jedi will determine this game if he can control the midfield and then bring in the rest of the midfield we will get a result, if not let's hope Archie pulls a hammy before he does too much damage to the score line. But at least we don't have Trot in goal this time!

Crowd 10k - 12k

Yeh, if Sahso and Simon haven't already scored one a piece by that point, all hell will break loose when the Mac attack comes on anyway....
