ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners Squad - HAL 14 - 2018- 2019 - The challenge for Mike Mulvey is over

Im calling its done, we haven't even heard whispers and vague statements like that from Mulvey all but confirm it for me.

The fact we have had the option to sign an injury replacement for Gameiro the ENTIRE Season and haven't taken advantage of it tells me signing new players isn't feasible for us atm.

Do we have that option though? I’m pretty certain that as we signed him (and aspro for that matter) knowing they were injured, that we are not able to sign injury replacements for them.

At this stage only money will suffice. We have to fork out or there’s no way we can get players of the quality required to make an impact.

McCormacks wage should get us one at least.

I know people want early signings. But the Problem with the window is players and agents will be seeking to gain better clubs - until they can’t - and so we’ll only get players willing to commit late In the window I think.

CCM won’t be many (read any) players first choice and agents will just use our offer to try and leverage interest elsewhere and push up bids from any/all interested parties.

It’s frustrating, but that’s the name of the game. So I’m not assuming incompetence or lack of effort on the clubs behalf here. That would be suicidal of them right now.

I dont think thats right.
If they are out injured you can sign an injury replacement.

Your liver will be shredded by the end of the season!!!

I think we might do ok against City on Wed. Bit scared about the cattle we have available against Nix but i'm an optimist.

I can say that training has stepped up a notch as the blow torch must have been pressed to Muley's belly. He is fighting hard now and hard work usually gets some reward.

While we don't get the insurance money, we could have still paid for another player if we put Gamerio/Aspro on the long term injury list. If we haven't had the money to do that, how do we have the money to bring other players in?

Seems to me when a team con't keep tight lines, and show for the ball the coach has lost the respect of players ... because these are very very very beyond basic structures and Mulvey would be saying these things but its simply not happening.

Been some recent talk in the media pertaining to is MM losing the shed.. hope I am wrong ..

Today we showed some fight, and when you are in troubled times like this every even 1% to 99% call goes against you... beyond harsh for Rowles to be shown the red today we have had players tacked like that with no penalty given never mind a send off as well...

we have 17 days left in January to find a keeper, a 9 & 10.

Read in the local peninsula news grave concerns about the team staying on the CC.

Things don't look that good right now, I hope we have the management team to get us out of this hole ..

Still we have 15 games to go... there is hope ... alias hope won't cut the mustard we need the coaching and admin management group to step up .

2 centre halves required immediately.

Apply with a copy of your latest IQ test.
Agree 100% on the IQ test. I'm not saying our current CBs are thick (well, maybe with recent form they are), but it's the most important position on the pitch where you need to play smart.

You do something stupid in or around the box and the team pays for it.

Isn't the 'local Peninsula news' just a paper full of ads that reproduces media releases?

Either way it'd just be amping up the same thing many on this forum have done

Not really, the FFA meeting is far more serious than people think. Hence the deafening silence
