ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Nobody exciting, though HB had potential. He never really came good with us, but that's probably more on us than him. While we struggle for a decent keeper:
From Twitter:
The Mariners and City are locked in an unusual tug of war, with both sides making plays at Bastien Schweinsteiger as he visits Melbourne for the Australian Open, according to a source close to the former Bayern Munich midfielder.
CCM CEO Shaun Mielekamp was recently in Melbourne meeting a representative with Mike Mulvey, while City have made contact through Warren Joyce who knew the player personally. Both clubs are believed to be seeking the Marquee Fund assistance.
He's however just resigned with Chicago Fire, who are only happy to see the German leave at the end of the 2019 season. It's believed that Mike Phelan made the introduction for the Mariners, using connections at Manchester United to contact his representatives.
Why not play both Toms as dual 10’s? That would certainly give us threat going forward and allow Pain and Millar to retain our pacy wide play too.I've been posting THIS to happen since Da Silva went off to that Olyroo's camp andgot injureddidn't want to play thereafter.
I'd agree with his except for the risk that we'll leak 10 goals a game instead of just 5Why not play both Toms as dual 10’s? That would certainly give us threat going forward and allow Pain and Millar to retain our pacy wide play too.
It's almost one week into the January transfer window and not a single signing. I would have thought that for a side that is struggling to even draw a match, let alone win one, we would be busy.
I know the management team have been in Melbourne, so perhaps some action will be seen soon. The fans need something.
They say 'you can't polish a turd', but we should be sprinkling some glitter on it.
On a positive note, we haven't lost anyone significant . . . yet.
We lost him long before the transfer window and his impact wasn't significant so I don't think we can qualify losing him as significant. We lost McCormack.
gonna call that if we don't have anyone signed by the 10th, it's not happening.
Mulvey was at the nix v wsw game last night. My first thought that if he is there scouting he has left it way too late.I'm gonna call that if we don't have anyone signed by the 10th, it's not happening. You don't get to January and start negotiations, you start your groundwork as soon as deficiencies were identified, which for us... Was about round 3!
