Wondering what the deal with Cisak at FC is - Always had big wraps on him in the UK - comes back to FC and can’t displace Redders. Based on BKs season so far if I was Mulvey I’d be having a chat to FC about getting him
And with JC at SFC I assumed a good keeper would become an exceptional one.

He may actually be a plant...

1. From Scum?
2. From FFA?
3. From TAB to ensure I NEVER win a f**king bet when that c**t plays. (I don't like calling him that as he is a very nice bloke BUT he is from Maitland and is our worst keeper since Trott and Nash.

The challenge for Mike is to win 9 games or better... 33%.

If you can't do better than that, no choice but to keep looking for someone who can.

There are fans from 9 other clubs getting rich because they don’t have yellow and blue hearts

Mulvey commented last night that Ross’s injury is worse than first thought. Seeing a surgeon on Monday but out for at least 5 weeks. :soapbox:

Luckless Mariners handed Ross McCormack blow
Josh Thomas

Their season can't get much worse

No win from seven games. Stranded at the foot of the A-League ladder. And now their star player Ross McCormack faces at least a month on the sidelines. The season simply hasn't gone to plan for a luckless Central Coast Mariners.

A 2-0 loss to Western Sydney Wanderers on Friday night which cemented the Mariners spot at the bottom of the table has come with the added blow that McCormack may need surgery on a knee injury.

"Ross McCormack is probably out for about four to five weeks, he's tweaked his knee," coach Mike Mulvey revealed post-match.

"He's seeing the surgeon on Monday. We'll work out a plan for him to get back."

Though a big loss, it's worth noting McCormack hasn't exactly hit the ground running at Gosford and has just one goal from his five A-League matches for the club to date.

Regardless, the injury has continued the Mariners horror start to the season with Mulvey bemoaning a lack of fear but stressing his side won't lose any hope so early on in the season.

"There’s no fear factor," he said.

"We need to address our deficiencies which we’re trying to do on a daily basis. I see committed guys at training giving the best they can. We’ll keep battling away.

"If you haven’t got hope, what have you got?

"We need a confidence builder and that comes from winning."

Central Coast's next clash will be away against Wellington Phoenix and though the travel isn't ideal, the opposition could present an ideal way for Mulvey's men to bag a long-awaited win and to start turning their luck around.

Think we need a sports psychiatrist to interchange the vision of a wooden spoon for a gold toilet seat to the players.

On one hand, Ross is the only player in our team vaguely capable of scoring goals.
On the other hand, he hasn't yet shown that he's vaguely capable of scoring goals. Not even from a FK.

If you lose your best attack who hasn't done a thing in attack, does that actually hurt or does it make no difference at all?
