ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I wonder if the plan is to turn Mauragis into a left mid if Faz stays or to just develop him as a bench LB?
Good problem to have, if fazz leaves this off season he steps in there. If he doesn’t then Lucas can develop his attacking game and add competition.

Smitty should be back next season and a contender for LB or LM. My preference for him would be LM.
Smith would be behind Mauragis in either LB or LW. If Faz were to stay I could definitely see him pushing Theo for that left wing role. Or as others have said Faz drops into a CB role.

Triantis back on loan would be great and it’s in our interest to help him due to any sell ons.

He is only 20 - plenty of time to impress at Sunderland. Happier for him to be here on loan than HIBS - especially without Monty and Serge.
He wont break through at sunderland....the two players keeping him out are too good. Hibs was looking good until the Jock bastards got rid of the gaffer.

Hall > Sainsbury
Perhaps physically, but sains’ reading of the game and intelligence on the ball along with excellent technical ability makes him a big upgrade atleast for a season or 2 whilst Paull matures or we find another young prospect CB. Theoretically, Brian’s physical prowess would compensate for any defects Sains might have physically these days. IE; speed.

Would be a massive signing.

I guess first priority is a replacement for Hall since we know he is leaving.

Triantis would be perfect, I dont think we could afford Sains and I worry if he would mess up the culture?
