ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

2 year extension for McGarry
I really like The Garry at LB and Faz at LCB personally, as I feel Jacob naturally leans towards the defensive side of the game anyway, whilst I feel The Garry is more attack-minded, so it’s a win-win. Jacob still has a lot to learn as a CB but I like that he gives us left-footed balance like Kye did and with the right coaching could do very well there and him being hard as nails doesn’t hurt either.

Spot on
Fazz looks much better at CB than LB especially how we use our full backs. CB is where his future lies. Needs to fill out though (and get a voice on the field)

Having Fax as a CB doesn't really take advantage of his superior cardio unfortunately.

From what I understand he owns in all the baseline testing

Triantis just got an assist in the u20's Asian Cup against Uzbekistan
However the young socceroos lead did not last long as its back on level terms.

Uzbekistan has been all over them for pretty much the entire game thus far.

Good, we need Triantis
Interesting selection next week. Hall and Windust did well after a shaky start. Triantis and Kaltac definitely back. Faz possibly back if not Glandular Fever.
Think it will be Triantis and Hall starting.
Triantis, Kaltac, Faz and Sam S all sitting on 4 yellows with one round to go before it goes to 8 cards before suspension.

If kaltak plays, he is bound to get at least a yellow, surely.

Not quite understanding all the DWH hate on here, while he hasn't played yet he is also injured.

I get that he has been in matchday squads and then not actually involved. But all the A-League coaches have been lying about available players in their matchday squads. Bozanic was out injured for six games and Rudan still included him in every matchday squad.

We also seemingly nabbed both Theoharous and DWH for Ruhs so I would say we are currently coming out on top.

While Ruhs has actually played for Western he has only come off the bench, and frankly hasn't made that much of an impact.

Compare that to Theoharous' output and the fact that we are actually yet to see DWH play our wheeling and dealing with Western has been pretty damn good.
