ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Still no Rogic something’s definitely up there.
He's not played and been training on his own for the last 4 months, Arnie knows what he can do so it makes sense he misses out here. Arnie will have no problem picking him from the WC if he gets some minutes in for WBA, but I read last week that he has some work to do to get back onside with his teammates - they were not happy with his no-show for the UAE & Peru games

Redders is in for penalties, that's all.
3rd keeper needs to be picked on merits. The element of surprise has gone with Redders in the unlikely event that we do finish up in a penalty shoot out.

Best use of Redders in that scenario would be as a double-bluff - psych the opposition out by bringing Langerak on in the 119th minute when they are expecting Redders.

Behich and King make this squad, gee Arnie is so predictable. Behich has barely been getting run at a last place Dundee United. If he starts at the WC I will be turning off my TV.
Elder should've been there ahead of one of them. Injured maybe?

Aziz had a mare against Japan but did play quite well against UAE and Peru. I guess that's why he's been rewarded, but I'd much prefer Elder.

Strain has been picked. Can he play on the left?

So Garang to Newcastle (UK) according to SMH.
Just can't see it unless they plan to lend him out to a European club for 3 years (at least)
Three years? For the kid who tore Barcelona apart?

I'd love to see him at Newcastle as they're my second favourite EPL team (grandfather was a Geordie). But I can see GK bursting into the first team squad far quicker than three years.

Very special talent.

They simply have to loan him out until he’s played enough senior national team games in a 12month period to qualify for a UK passport. That part could happen relatively quickly. I can definitely see them signing him. Rumoured £25k a week too. Huge. Just hope for Garangs sake they’re careful where they loan him to, hopefully back to us until the end of the season.
