He's not played and been training on his own for the last 4 months, Arnie knows what he can do so it makes sense he misses out here. Arnie will have no problem picking him from the WC if he gets some minutes in for WBA, but I read last week that he has some work to do to get back onside with his teammates - they were not happy with his no-show for the UAE & Peru games

3rd keeper needs to be picked on merits. The element of surprise has gone with Redders in the unlikely event that we do finish up in a penalty shoot out.
I would assume that Arnie does plenty of pillow-talking and anything that Slater (who I would normally take with a pinch of salt) says about the NT is reasonably reliable.

They simply have to loan him out until he’s played enough senior national team games in a 12month period to qualify for a UK passport. That part could happen relatively quickly. I can definitely see them signing him. Rumoured £25k a week too. Huge. Just hope for Garangs sake they’re careful where they loan him to, hopefully back to us until the end of the season.
It’s not really a plan if it’s the only thing that can happen….
