Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. If he can’t make it over there then perhaps that ship has sailed. Although like Silvera a career wake up call is what he needs. I feel Silvera will have a good season and seems to be a first choice player as he has been taking the set pieces in pre season so far.
I used to be a DRD fan but the kid made a stupid decision to leave after he broke through to go to a very low level in Poland. Whoever helps advise him has almost killed his career already.

I was keen to see more of him, thought there was some talent there but there seemed to be some sort of falling out with the club and a lot of people on here didn't like his attitude. We've got plenty of attacking force now, think he's missed the boat for this season at least.

I chatted to teammates of his (DRD) at the time, told very cocky and not about the team. These are the opinions of others so I have to take them with a grain of salt but if it's true it has to be a dealbreaker for a team that derives much of its success from its phenomenal culture
It’s extremely true, unfortunately. Kid had genuine talent.

DRD was young, and foolish to listen to the people that advised him back then.
Maybe he did have an attitude but he`s learnt a tough lesson since then.
If he wanted to come back to trial i`d give him a go.
I think you`d find a very humble young man that would give anything for another shot...
