Agree, as I’ve mentioned on here. His pedigree is astronomical compared to any striker we’ve had in recent times.

Happy with Urena. A guy whose scored for his country and made that many appearances shows he is a worthwhile investment. At A-League level he should do well. All l ask is that he can be a 10-15 goal a season striker.

from the clips I’ve seen he doesn’t always need a lot of service, very opportunistic and can absolutely crack a ball sweetly. Decent pace too. I’m getting very excited, such a shame we have to wait a bit to see him.

If so he hasn’t been value for money, I figured he was only still with us because of the Roma deal. Probably hard to find this info out as it has always been well hidden.

He had a very busy game and was very effective in disrupting WU especially Wales. Early days but AU were better than everyone thought and WU not as good as last year. Both very rusty and probably a result of a lack of pre season games. Will be interesting to see how the ACL teams go. WU do not have another game for three weeks, that is not ideal for building momentum and cohesion.

He is vice captain as well, Rudan putting a lot of faith in him we clearly didn’t see. Unfortunately a common situation for CCM over the last 7 years.

Imagine having 2 blokes at 5'6 running round in your midfield. You'd need a surly DM at like 6'5 to make up for your mosquito brigade.

I’ll reserve any judgement until I see how we play, AU have some good backline experience in Jakobson and Elsey I thought WU’s young backline did ok but Juric should have scored when he beat the defence. AU keeper did ok but every shot on target was at him so time will tell but he looks promising.
