ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

McGing. Come on we’ve got enough average players already. You guys have very short memories. No more wage thiefs and training cones for the squad thanks

Both players have solid pedigree in K-League 1 and 2 plus ACL experience.

Kim Eun-Sun has 100 K-League 1 appearances, 55 K-League 2 appearances, 10 ACL appearances. 31 years old. Could potentially be good

Lee has 159 K-League 1 appearances and 29 ACL appearances. Attacking mid which is a position we've needed to fill for a while. Played 143 games for Suwon, 60 for FC Seoul. 32 years old so has a couple of good years to give (if signed)

K-League is a pretty decent standard and Suwon are a big club so looking good.

DM & AM, both appear to have been suspended in Korea due to drink driving offences but hopefully that can be our gain as they work towards getting back in to the K league. Could be two smart signings.

Hi everyone, just to confirm for you that we have two Korean players on trial who started today. We have been in discussions with these players for quite sometime now. We will provide more updates through the week, they have brought their own translator to help them while they are here. For those very keen to know who it is Kim Eun-Sun and Lee Sang-ho.

God damn Shaun, you are absolutely killing it with these updates.
Thank you! These are the little things that help ease anxiety for some fans.

So that's a chauffeur with them, who happens to speak English then.

McGing was decent, but I still don't think he's a fullback anywhere. He's a defensive winger, if there is such a thing....

I like this recruitment tactic.

Bound to be technically at the level of the better players in the HAL. Typically have high concentration, great work ethic and fitness. Good team players and renowned for accepting authority (well usually) - but I mean as in culturally they’re very unlikely to undermine a coach or start chucking wobblies if we lose a few games, do a boot camp, or extra training that conflicts with time to play FIFA.

Turns out BOTH of the Korean trialists have been done for drink driving.
As someone who's been done DUI, 2 schooners of New in about 90 mins will get you done there.
I dunno what the drinking culture is like in Korea but their limit is 0.05. However Im sure its not the same as anyone who frequents the pub at Jesmond.

Edit: That's legit 2. Not a 'waiting for a mate' 2.
